I decided to make a trip over the bridge from Southern Maryland to get my dog groomed after a horrible grooming experience with different groomer. I just can't say enough about the time, effort, and obvious care that was put into making both me and my puppy happy! She looked beautiful and she was walking and smiling like she knew it! (Your dog will tell on a problematic groomer if you pay attention). I have found my new groomer and I won't be going anywhere else!

We took "Nick," now Benjamin, to be seen within the time frame outlined in the contract. After his visit, I was informed that he had a parasite in his stool. I immediately notified Bonnie, who offered me a store credit. While I thought that was a kind gesture, I do not live in the area, so it would not benefit me. Furthermore, I was only being informative, as required by the agreement--I wasn't seeking anything. Since she offered, I simply asked if there was an alternative given my location. She insisted on store credit only and asked for the records and invoice, which I provided. Again, I clarified that I was not requesting compensation. After that exchange, however, Bonnie stopped communicating altogether. She never inquired about whether Benjamin was ill from the parasite or showed any concern for his well-being. I found that quite disappointing. The parasite is contracted by consuming rodents, infected feces etc. That doesn't say much about his dwellings prior to being adopted.

You can bring the animal back but your money will be gone. I am researching how I can take my complaint to a state or local level because this was heartbreaking to see in person as an adult. It's inhumane. I've bred dogs before and have trained them and this is setting the future parents up for failure. This truly breaks my heart to see the animals in this manner. If you understand how connected humans, animals and nature are then you would not allow this.

Their pricing is very competitive to even Amazon, so save the shipping/time and just stop by to buy local! P.S. PetsMart may have some cheaper cat food options, but Felix offers more premier brands of food and toys. They also can order in speciality food. My purebred exotic shorthair is from another country and was raised on Farmina brand food. While they don't carry it on the shelves, Felix is able to order that for me (unlike PetsMart). They also have many catnip infused toys that helped my new fur baby feel right at home.

They were curbside only but they were so compassionate and great about having it ready for me each time. The details are a little hazy but I do remember a particular employee going the extra mile for me one time to straighten out my order and get me the paste that my cat needed. Today I was there for the litterbox pellets that my bunny uses, Yesterday's and I was reminded of what great customer service - with a smile - and extension of care this place provides. My receipt says the employee who helped me today was Emily and if it's her, then shout out and thank you!!
