After visiting several furniture stores, we finally found a sectional we liked at Ashley, and overall had a positive experience. A big thank you to Branddie for helping us through the process. We had interacted with several sales associates during multiple visits, but her friendly, helpful, and low-pressure approach made all the difference. She answered our questions without being pushy, which made us feel comfortable moving forward with the purchase. One downside is the delivery fee structure, it's percentage-based instead of a flat rate, so costs can add up quickly on larger purchases. Also, like most furniture stores, there's a strong push for furniture protection plans (from managers and other sales people). Thankfully, Branddie mentioned it professionally without applying pressure. Finally, value can vary. You can find some decent deals depending on the time of year, but Ashley isn't known for its prices. Shop around and don't rush if something isn't on sale. Overall, your experience at Ashley can depend a lot on who you work with, and Branddie comes highly recommended from us, and made our experience a great one. My boyfriend and I recently relocated from California to Virginia and made a significant furniture purchase of over $8K. After waiting for about three weeks, 75% of our order was finally delivered. However, our dining table and two sets of chairs are now being rescheduled for delivery in another week, at best. We took two weeks off of work to settle into our new home, but now we'll need to take additional time off just to receive the final piece of furniture. (They do not deliver on weekends) If you're in the market for furniture, I'd strongly recommend ordering online with another company if you want a delivery that doesn't take nearly a month. Your chances of getting it within two weeks are much higher than purchasing in-store, especially here. Additionally, the post-sale service has been a nightmare. It's nearly impossible to track your order or get updates on delivery delays. When you do call, the store rarely answers on the first attempt, and when they do, you're met with an unhelpful attitude, as if you're the inconvenience. Overall, this has been an extremely frustrating experience, and after this, we will never be purchasing from Ashley's again. read more

But customer service absolutely is terrible, I had issues with the delivery window and tried to adjust but they said that wasn't possible, I then went out of my way to accommodate the delivery window and unbeknownst to me the corporate customer service representative had cancelled my delivery. Now I have to accommodate another delivery window while I had already taken a day off of work. Customer service and the store said there would be an additional delivery charge , I had to be transferred to corporate management to make sure I wasn't charged an additional delivery fee. At this point I was looking for corporate to contact their logistics team to confirm the delivery time but they can't even do that they can only schedule for the day , the request is then geographically charted with other deliveries so I'm on the hook for another 12 hour window until the day before when they send you an automated voice call and automated text message. All in all Elijah just facilitated paperwork and did his job. Management couldn't tell me when the store manager was available other than "he's here on the weekend" and we're not able to answer any question regarding delivery. I asked that my original delivery fee be refunded because I was there and made sure to be able to facilitate their window but when asking them to facilitate a window of 7am- 1pm they told me all they could do was request but again the deliveries are geographically charted. I asked what kind of "pull" that request would have and was given the geographically charted line once again.CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE!!!!!! read more

I recently purchased furniture for several rooms in my new home through the Ashley Furniture store in Fredericksburg, VA. The in-store experience itself was positive--there were lots of options and reasonable price points, and I initially felt confident in my purchase. Unfortunately, the delivery experience through T&T Distribution was absolutely terrible, and it completely overshadowed the purchase. I had two separate deliveries, and both were horrendous. In both cases: * Items were missing from my orders * Deliveries arrived over three hours past the delivery window * I waited as long as eight hours at home for one delivery When I contacted T&T Distribution's Customer Care, they were completely unhelpful. There were no apologies, no accountability, and no compensation for my wasted time. Instead, I was told that customers are expected to be home all day because delivery windows are "estimated." This directly contradicted the voicemail transcripts they left, which never stated that an all-day wait was required. If that's truly their policy, then giving a 3-4 hour delivery window is misleading. To make matters worse, because of missing items, I had to personally go to the warehouse and/or store to retrieve what should have been delivered correctly the first time. I still needed dining room furniture and initially planned to purchase it from Ashley--but the thought of dealing with T&T Distribution again was incredibly stressful. Instead, I found the exact same Ashley-made dining set on Amazon: * Nearly $1,000 cheaper * No delivery fee * Easy assembly * No waiting around all day Since then, I've discovered many Ashley furniture pieces available online at Amazon with free delivery and far less hassle. There are also other local retailers that sell Ashley-made furniture without using T&T Distribution. Final Thoughts: * The furniture itself is fine * The delivery company is not * The overall experience was frustrating and time-consuming I do not recommend purchasing through the Ashley Furniture store in Fredericksburg unless you are prepared to: * Pick up items yourself from the warehouse * Deal with long, unreliable delivery windows * Handle missing items with little to no support My advice: Do your research. New 1 Star - Blatant Misrepresentation, Forced Store Credit, and Predatory Policy We purchased furniture from Ashley Furniture HomeStore (Outlet) only after explicitly asking whether it would fit in our home. The sales rep did not say "you should measure." He did not hedge. He stated verbatim: "Unless it's one of those funky spiral staircases, these guys can make it fit no problem." That assurance is the only reason we purchased. On delivery day, the delivery team confirmed the furniture did not fit and took it back. No damage. No refusal. No customer error. Just bad advice. When we contacted the sales manager, we were told Ashley does not do refunds -- even when the failure is caused by their own employee's incorrect guidance. Instead, we are being forced to select different furniture we do not want, or forfeit our money. Let's call this what it is: * Ashley employees confidently make claims to close the sale * Those claims are not honored when proven wrong * Customers are then trapped by a "no refunds" policy * Responsibility is shifted entirely onto the buyer This is not customer service -- it's a predatory sales practice designed to eliminate accountability. Any reputable company would stand behind its employees' representations. Ashley chooses not to. Their policy effectively encourages sales reps to say whatever is necessary to make the sale, knowing the customer has no recourse once the transaction is complete. Buyer Beware!! If you really want your purchase do yourself a favor and have a backup option because there policy is No refund only Store credits. Purchased a $2800 L-shape sofa, Paid In FULL. I searched online for over a month and found it at Ashley Furniture. Went into store 8/22/25, purchased via Elijah (sales agent). Didn't look for a back up as there was nothing else in the store for me and I never imagined the delivery would go awry. Ashley Furniture only wants your hard earned money. Chips fall on you once there is an issue with delivery of your purchase. The contracted delivery company, T&T Delivery will string you along for months without any accountability. 1st delivery appointment: NO show NO call. 2nd delivery appointment: Home left with major damages in my stairwell including walls and railing. I was told it's a formality to sign a damage waiver and coerced into signing because I was assured there would be no damage. LIES!! After the damage was done I was told they would be willing to come back off the clock and deliver the purchase through my upstairs patio door for $200.00. I reported this to Ashley Store nothing was done except the cookie cutter answer.. the delivery is done by a 3rd party company and we have no control over that company. At which time I requested my furniture be delivered to my garage and I would have professionals place my furniture into the home. So next delivery appointment was set up. 3rd delivery appointment: NO show NO call, AGAIN! Three days later Ashley Store called to check on my delivery. At that time I expressed my dissatisfaction with the entire handling of this simple delivery. Throughout this disaster there has been minimal communication with salespersons, customer care. When there is a rare chance of contact, it only results in false promises, cookie cutter answers and no real solutions. As of 10/1/25, only have: Major damages in my stairwell, Broken Delivery appointments, Ashley Corporate saying there's nothing that can be done, And no real indication of when/if I will get my purchase. Now, Ashley Furniture Class Action Lawsuit information is popping up on my feed. Sadly this didn't show up before my purchase. I purchased 1-couch/2-loveseats with recliner, heat, and massage features. The massage feature in one of the loveseats does not work. So, it arrived broken. Initially, they were extremely helpful and agreed to repair it, which at first was OK. I assumed it would be an easy fix, and the part was to arrive quickly. Now, they are saying that the part is not to arrive for several more weeks, at which point, I will still need to schedule a technician. Please note that I paid for the warranty. Remember that this extremely expensive (over $9K total) item arrived broken. Now when I called customer service, who was very polite, they are telling me that I do not have the option of replacing the brand-new broken item for something new after the item has been in my house for more than 48 hours. POV: If you want quality products, do not purchase them from Ashley. If you want customer service, do not go with Ashley. read more

I am revising my review to one star and will never do business with this company again. From purchase to now, this has been a nightmare dealing with this company. Salesmen lied to me about where the bed was made, insisting the wood was from North Carolina trees and manufactured in NC. Not until I had to take pictures of the tag underneath that I saw the stamp "Made in Vietnam". Keep in mind this is Ashley Home Store, owned by Michael Trivett, and NOT the corporate Ashley Furniture company. The bed had a defective drawer in front, so opening and closing the drawer damaged the footboard. The ONLY fix the company is willing to do is to send out a tech to color in the damage with a crayon wood marker which has now been wiped off by the drawer opening and closing. You can see on the picture the damage. I was warned by many people and the 2 stars overall review of this company on Yelp is a clear message to beware before buying from them. First, I would like to say the customer service was excellent. My two complaints are involving the selection and financing. First, there are big signs hanging in various parts of the store stating sofas start at $299, $399, etc. When I asked where are these sofas, they don't have any. Their sofas started at $599 and up! Second, there are three options to finance. Instead of explaining what the three are, they will do a hard credit inquiry. There's an option that allows you to do a soft credit check with 120 days to pay. In summary, either remove the signs(false advertising) or get more sofas. Also, explain ALL of the financing options available and let the customer decide for themselves which route to go. read more

Purchased a sofa last fall at Ashley in Fredericksburg. In May/June motor stopped functioning properly and put in claim with Ashley and Montage warranty company. Part was supposed to be ordered late on July 1st. Just got an email that part not expected to be delivered until Oct 1st. Very unhappy, my recliner barely works now on a sofa that is less than 9 months old, and we paid extra for a warranty that can't get it fixed in less than 3+ months- totally ridiculous! They talk you in to buying a more expensive couch with the expectation that it gets in sooner o lay to find out on the delivery day when it doesn't show up that oops sorry yea that couch is on back order and won't be in for another 60 to 90 days. Took this issue all the way to corporate for them to say I should have read all the fine print and to do not return or refund anything.
