First we waited in a line of cars for 45 minutes just to get into one of 20 parking spots they have set aside. I was nervous about it because the receipt was faded. However the staff quickly put me at ease and made the return based on the credit card I used to make the original purchase. I ended up picking up a new shirt and get in the self check line because there were only two registers open and both had long lines. I wrongly assumed the gift cards would be near the register. The woman working the self check area pointed me toward them and told me not to stand in line again to check out but to just come back to her and let her slot me into an open machine quicker. The store was clean and the workers were all very friendly and helpful.

This Target is located on Highway 20 and sits in a rather large shopping center with other large…read morebrand stores and a few local shops and eateries. This location is rather large, definitely built as a Super Target when those were a thing. They have all the standard spots and sections you have come to love at Target including a well stocked pantry section. I came here for a few particular reasons...a card, gift card, toothpaste and a dress shirt. I was able to get everything without issue with the exception of the dress shirt. This location has very little options for men's dress attire. They had a sprawling men's clothing section, but almost no formal/dress attire including simple button ups. It was bizarre and disappointing. Side note...the gift card I got was actually a scratch and sniff gift card. Like, those are real and it smelled absolutely lovely! Service was something else. I walked by many Associates in the store, at least one per section I shopped in and none spoke, which is odd for a Target. Then I get to the register and I am checking out. I ended up picking up a polo shirt and draped it over my shoulder as I was carrying all of my items. The cashier began ringing my items and then noticed the shirt and rudely asked me if I panned on paying for it. Now, I get what she was trying to do, but that was the absolute worst way to achieve the results she wanted and create a good customer experience. So, I will say that the service at this location is 1 star...the other 2 come from it being a Target, being clean, well organized and well stocked for the most part. Overall, I love Target and will continue to be Team Target...however, if I find myself back in this area and in need, I may be a little more diligent on finding another retailer to swing through.

I think the next time I will pass and let someone experience her not me ever again. She won't touch anything and makes you empty the bag if you have a return item. She makes you take your bag back. I feel very insulted by her actions and the first time me and my daughter just looked at each other in disbelief. She is very short with you and does not speak almost barking out orders. Don't try to talk to her, she is not the least bit friendly. I feel like she thinks everyone is dirty and I feel like that there is some discrimination going on here. Neat store, always well organzied....and my cousin (who u can never please) found a pair of Skinny Leg 7 Jeans in her size (14) for $30. How in the hell can you beat that. Whoever can afford to pay up to $170 for jeans in these days, then more power to you, but if I can pay $30 and leave an extra $140 in my pocket......then I'm all for pocket change. This Marshall's is a ways out in the Lithonia area for me (I live near the airport), but its so much better than the ones here in the inner-city where I never find anything in my size and the stores are just trashed. Yes, I will be taking the almost 45 minute commute to this Marshalls in the future.

I didn't see anything I liked in particular so I walked around to the lingerie section. You can never get enough of underwear so I bought 5 pair panties for $25. I always shop the brand Barely There. On my way out I stopped in dresses and I bought a cute cream A line sleeveless dress with gold appellets in the front. Regularly priced $88 on sale for $49. It's perfect for church, dinner or wedding. All the Associates were professional and nice. I don't shop this Belk often as it's about 12 miles from my house.
