Just one package, take it or leave it. Not sure what was was going on. Then onto get a bar of soap. Terrible prices compared to HEB, so I checked the individual toiletries isle and I was just getting one. When I went to put 3pack back, I saw a different price for the individual bar. I went back and took photo and instead of self check, waited in line. It rang up incorrect. I showed photo to cashier, but she said it was for another smaller size. In photo you can see that the larger size is the only product on shelf at price. A manager came and was absolutely no help either. Cashier said he was going to remove the wrong product from display. So I wasn't helped, other than wasting my time, and didn't leave with any soap! So much for standing by whats on display and honoring customers who bring proof to register.

They carried many brands that they didn't have before since they had a new president, such as Bebe, Lucky, Betsy Johnson, And Buckle. This is One of the largest Burkes in the Hill Country. Just so that you know, Burkes had a loyalty program where you get $5 credit after you earn 200 points. So shop away and have a great time!

The value at Ollie's is great. We didn't have a ton of time to shop but we nabbed an A&M garden flag for $6.99 and a big bag of Brownie Brittle for $5.99. (Now I will note that we have been "burned" by food at Ollie's in the past -not this particular location- when we bought some mint patties which were infested with bugs. So yes we are "nervous" buying food here but I think that if they are well packaged, that shouldn't normally be a problem.) Now for the service. Wow. Aimee was our cashier and was FABULOUS. She was so friendly and helpful. She got us signed up for Ollie's rewards and explained everything so thoroughly. I honestly don't know why we didn't sign up before. It's not like we shop here much but the points don't expire so we should have done it sooner. Thankfully this wonderful employee was able to get us signed up. Wasn't expecting such great service here. Outstanding.

It's really a shame, as they were considered the best boot and tack shop in Texas, with fair pricing on a wide range of boots. I bought a pair of Justin Ropers there for a good deal less than I would have paid in Austin, and I'm still wearing them after 20 odd years. I only wish I had taken the plunge and bought a pair of really nice Luchesse, Tony Llama, or other boots with exotic hides, which would have cost hundreds more, but still a lot less than any other place I know of.
