I had never heard of a feed store before, so I had to Google one within the vicinity. J&B Feed & Hay came up with stellar reviews and so I decided to make the drive to Menchaca. When I arrived, the store was located on a farm with a dirt road leading up to it. I found what I needed, and the cashier not only rang me up but also helped load 80 pounds of pellets (40 lbs cost only $6 compared to the 30 lbs of litter being $20) into my trunk. I'm not sure if I'll stick with pellets for my kitten, but if I do--or if I ever decide to get any farm animals--I'll easily return.
