I didn't expect a routine stop at Tractor Supply Co. to turn into a full-on life event, but here we are. My cousin's dog apparently decided that the pet supply aisle was the perfect place to bring new life into the world, and honestly, she committed to the bit. One minute we were browsing; the next, it was an emergency "clear the space" situation, and suddenly Tractor Supply became the most unexpected maternity ward in Texas. To their credit, the staff handled it like absolute pros. What could've been chaotic was actually kind of heartwarming. Employees jumped in to help, gave us space, and somehow kept things calm as tiny puppies made their grand entrance. There's something surreal about hearing newborn puppy squeaks echoing through a store that usually smells like feed and hay. Customers nearby went from confused to fully invested in about 30 seconds. It turned into a wholesome little crowd moment for sure. By the end of it, everyone was okay, the puppies were adorable, and my cousin now has one wild story that no one will believe without proof. Overall, 10/10 experience great service, unforgettable atmosphere, and bonus puppies. Wouldn't recommend planning your dog's delivery here, but if it happens...apparently you're in good hands. read more

Can only comment on their pet meds service. Promised med would go out in 2 days. Didn't go out for 8. But worse, i paid for it, got it (a 3 mo supply) And then they billed me the same amount next month for no reason. Wasn't on re-order. Didn't send any communication or product. If I didnt watch my bank I'd be out $105. Contacted them. Said they'd investigate and didn't. Had to dispute it with my bank to get my money back. Will keep watching my bank acct for their theft. Suggest everyone else do so as well! read more

I moved to Athens in January 2017. I have been to this store dozens of times and while there were times they didn't quite have I was looking for or have people who were not as knowledgeable as I would like, they have always been friendly and treated me with respect. As of this writing July 2019 there were only two reviews of this particular store and both had only one star. Seems to me that people complain about petty stuff too much these days. Don't get me wrong, I have written my share of negative reviews and each time felt they were justified but this Tractor Supply store really is better than what the other two reviewers have experienced. Call me a farm girl, because I love going to Tractor Supply. The staff here is helpful, respectful, professional, and kind. It's not a super big store, but if they don't "have it" they can order "it" for you. During canning season, I know I can always find canning jars here when the grocery stores supplies are out. I love the country themed candles and decor, as well as clothing and boot selection. Every Christmas I get boots for my granddaughters there. Nice selection for kids and adults. I hate shopping at malls but I love my Tractor Supply in Athens! read more

Last year toward the end, this tractor supply went down the tubes, they lost the one manager that cared about the customers and made sure he had the staff that knew what they were talking about. Don't know where JD went, or If he's ok, wish I did. He was a great asset for tractor supply read more

Customer service at this particular location was horrible. I asked a young man to help me find a certain type of inner tube tractor tire. Informed him we needed to look it up. Male employee led me to the inner tube section and said, "there it is." He got his manager after i said we needed to look it up on the computer and the manager said, "they couldn't do that." I had to go on the website on my own and find what i needed. Went to pay and stated, "i found it on my own." The manager stated, "What female do you know, that knows about tractor tires. ughhh a female manager that works at a tractor store!!!!!! WTF! Worst customer service ever. Mrs. Manager needs to educate herself on items she sells in a tractor store, if you're gonna be a manager there. If you're too lazy to educate yourself, go work at a womens clothing store or a nail salon. read more

I just spent several minutes walking around the store looking for someone to help me. The only hope I had was the cashier and she had a line of five people when I came in. Really disappointed, because I spend so much money at several Tractor supply stores. If you guys really care about what people think of you, look at today's video tape from 1:50 til 2:10? Heading to Ace in Gun Barrel City or Lowe's. I wish I had gone to the Canton Texas store. This store sucks every time I go there. read more
