We almost missed this small town Goodwill store as we were passing through but I am happy we…read morestopped. They had a surprisingly decent selection of clothing for men, women, and kids. Lots of nicer brands for ladies clothing especially...Talbots, LOFT, Banana Republic and very up to date stuff from Target and Old Navy was quickly found among the usual ragtag thrift mess. They have mediocre housewares and a little bit of furniture, too. One MAJOR star lost for not having clothing prices posted or marked. What in the green Earth is up with that!?! I had to ask for the price of the dress I bought, but in order to do that I had to wait in a line of three other people - two of whom were also asking for prices on clothing. The exasperated staff member gave a vague excuse about "they took down our sign with the prices". This needs to be remedied, Goodwill. Customers don't have time for that, and it can't be easy on the staff either.

In my case, I remain unpaid for about 30 consignments. The owner doesn't seem to care and has not contacted me. The little office girl is clueless. If you are a buyer, make sure your purchase is as described and/or working before you leave the building. This includes facebook auctions, both live and timed. Caveat Emptor!!! Additionally, they are not licensed for auctioneering and operate on an outlaw basis. Sellers should consider a reputable and transparent place of business to sell your merchandise.

You can feel your bag up with clothes for 5 dollars. All of their clothes are quality garments. I love to shop there and the ladies that work there are always so kind and helpful.

I had a fun shopping experience at Simply Grace Thrift Store! I even had hubby with me and that can…read moresometimes shorten the length of my time in the store. But not that day! Hubby was off looking at clothes of all things. He actually found a great deal on a men's puffer jacket (Hawke & Co.) for $10! There were a couple of tiny tears around one elbow and I sewed the hanging nylon and with all the puffer action, you can't even tell I repaired it. He is very happy with his purchase! Since it was right before Halloween, we were looking at costumes, etc. I found a cute girls pumpkin dress and while I was there I sent a pic to my niece, but she already had something similar. They had everything arranged so nicely and the store was well lit. They had some very nice brand name clothing items and the prices were great! And, the best thing of all is that the proceeds from the store benefit the counseling and services available to patrons that need their help.

I went back on Friday and clothes were 1/2 off and shoes were .99. It is downtown with lots of other shops and restaurants. They had a large selection of teen jeans that were new with tags. I love finding great deals while helping local charities. Also by thrifting I hope I'm reducing my carbon footprint. I am in town for work so I have checked out all the thrifts and this is one that is worth stopping in.
