The complaints about cat and dog vaccines really don't apply to this company. Tractor Supply offers a room for VIP to provide the vaccines. The company and their staff are under no obligation to deal with VIP scheduling problems, signage, or even customer questions about VIP. There are signs to point folks to the room for vaccines. Providing a wall for the signs is the extent of Tractor Supply's obligations. Now, when I go to the store to buy products from Tractor Supply, the staff has been extremely helpful, especially if you have more exoctic pets, like rabbits. Please don't complain about a company who's only mission is to supply a free room. At least it's inside. At my last low cost clinic, I had to wait outside in 100 degree heat to get my kitty shots. read more

Website is inaccurate. I keep placing orders and they keep canceling them due to not having the items in stock. It said they have peatmoss in stock and available for curbside pickup. I ordered some and got a text saying my order is being prepared. 20 minutes later I got a text saying my order was canceled as they don't have it in stock. A week later I ordered a sprayer and some weed killer. This time I got a text saying my order was being prepared followed by one saying my order is ready for pickup. As I was getting ready to leave, I got another text saying my order was again cancelled. I called to see what was going on. Is it ready or not? No one answered the phone the first 3 times. The 4th call in a row a girl answered and said that if I got a cancellation text then they don't have the items in stock. Why did they tell me it was ready for pickup then? I purchased something for same day pickup that I needed for a birthday tomorrow and was planning on picking it up after work. Within an hour of my purchase they cancel the order because they sold it to someone else. Didn't even have the decency to give me a call. What a joke. Love this place. We needed puppy food and wanted the right stuff and they who helped was very nice and professional. They have it all here bought my work boots and my kids some boots here as well. Needed stuff for my truck well they had jsut what i needed. Now if I can just get out of here without my wife buying up all the cute little chickens and ducks lll be even better. We ordered horse stall mats and paid $50 for delivery that was promised that Thursday. The attendant didn't take down our address until we mentioned it, and asked us to write it on a piece of receipt paper that I'm guessing was thrown away. 1 month later we still do not have our mats that cost over $400! We have called endless times and just get the employees telling us the delivery guy will come in at 10am and call us about our order. Not acceptable! read more

Seems like the staff didn't really care about what I needed. I came in here looking for DIY kitten vaccines and the lady cold shouldered me while getting it for me out of the case and didn't even offer a ice pack to make sure it stayed cold.... UM hello, you can make a kitten very sick/ die with warm vaccines that's why it's important to keep it cold! So...their websight talks about fast shipping, next day shipping and so on. My order was placed on MAY 4 2020. It should have taken 2 days. I get an e-mail saying delivery date is now May 8. Another e-mail pushes it out even farther to May 13th. It's just a 1 1/2 gallon poly sprayer,nothing special. When the tracking info. finally shows up, it says it's coming from Arizona. I was highly unsatisfied...I don't know her name she had reddish hair and wasn't wearing a vest. I thought since she was on the forklift she must have worked there so I asked her and she seemed very rude and acted like it was a bother to ask her a question. Let me start by saying the women at the special order desk was so rude on 12/17. My husband and I came in looking for gates since they were having there 15% for friends and neighbors sell. She was so rude toward me when I asked if we could buy gates and pay tonight even if they wouldn't show up for a month her responds no! And reason why it was no? Well if they don't come in it would be to difficult to do a refund? REALLY? She did say she would honor the 15% off if they came in. She told us we should drive up to Auburn and look there. (Which is 45 minutes away) When asked if we could see what type of special order gates they could get she was rude about it and kept having a smart ass look on her face. ( she also was more concerned about the person who walked up after us then to actually give us attention and help us out). She did offer to call the online store but couldn't do it until Monday....which we didn't understand why we had to wait 6 days, but at that point I was over it. After we looked at a few gates online we said thank you and walked away. I just can't believe how rude she was! My husband bought a Jonsered chain saw in February. It was not one of the cheap ones and it had good online reviews. He also purchased Tractor Supplies extended warranty. He used the saw for one day and then put it in his shop. When he went to pull it out to use it again the next day he noticed a large pool of oil on the floor. The bar oil reservoir was empty. He filled the reservoir up again and the next day found the reservoir dry again with a large pool of oil on the tarp he had set it on. We returned the saw to the Antelope store where we purchased it. Rob, the manager met us in the front of the store and with a completely straight face told my husband the saw was designed to leak. When we explained the leak was not the usual dripping from the chain after use but rather all of the oil from the reservoir, he continued to insist this was the design of this particular brand of chainsaws. My husband asked him to show us something that states this and he proceeded to pull the manual where it tells you to drain the fluids when not in use for extended periods of time. He the tried to Google something and obviously could not find anything. We explained this was not a satisfactory answer and never had heard anything so ridiculous in our lives. He then proceeded to tell us he would do us a favor by calling the number on their extended warranty form for us. He told us we could drive the saw to repair shop 45 miles away but they would only tell us the same thing. We explained we were not going to drive it there and would leave it at the store for them to take care of as stated in the warranty. He then told us he had 18 other pieces of equipment waiting to get repaired and it could be a month or more before the repair shop even came in to pick it. When we said we would leave it any way he refused to give us any type of receipt to show we had left the machine. He stated it was not Tractor Supplies policy to give any receipt or documentation when leaving equipment. We picked up the saw and told him we would deal with his boss on Monday as this was absolutely ridiculous. He suddenly decided he would just give us a refund so we could go buy a saw somewhere else. All I can say is "WTF" is wrong with this guy and how did he become a manager. This store is location is not long for staying in business with this type of customer service. read more

This used to be a great neighborhood store but customer service has really gone down hill and includes high staff turnover which indicates poor management. I feel so bad reading the reviews that these people leave on Yelp! It is not a true reflection of this Tractor Supply. These hard working individuals are nothing short of extraordinary! I personally dealt with Jarrett, Christina and Maddie. All three were so wonderful in assisting me with all of my questions and concerns. Jarrett was extremely knowledgable about some questions I had about T-posts and gates. Christina and Maddie were both busy restocking the shelves with what seemed to be dog treats and toys but the minute I walked up both of them dropped what they were doing and gave me all their attention. They both answered all my questions and concerns about how to keep my new dog in the yard and ways to keep him entertained while I am out of the house. After my purchase the same young man who answered my questions about gates helped me out to my car with my heavy dog food bags. Not to mention how all the staff was wearing their masks and making sure everyone followed social distancing guidelines. I appreciate everyone working at this store. Such an amazing crew!! Went here to buy veggies to start my garden only about 15 choices for potted plants. I also planned to come for their Market day event... there was NO ONE THERE! Example of false advertising or a failure on management and staff to make the event a successful one. The culture here felt like it was very welcoming for regulars but not other. The customer service at this tractor supply is horrible. I called about picking up my grain impact Senior when I was told it should be hear next week on Thursday. So I went to the store on Thursday to purchase the pellet load and it was not there. So I went to purchase 5 sacks of equine senior to get by until it come in. So I went to the register and asked when the grain would be in and the guy at the register call someone from back to ask and they. Are up to the register and said they would go check on it. So I thought maybe the person behind the register would ring up my purchase while the other people was checking. Well the person behind the register went to the back and never rang up my purchase. I stood there until there was no line and someone had to come and rig up my purchase of grain. So now today in go to purchase a pellet of equine senior at 10:00 am the cashier Alyssa ask a guy named Dan he said that it would be 10 minutes. I said that is fine as I walk out the door I hear Alyssa tell Dan that I was the one that filed a complaint with the Corp office. I stood out in the parking for 40 minutes waiting for my purchase of grain. Keep in mine I buy a pellet of grain every month $500 plus I will not be going here anymore. read more

My wife and I have been coming to this store for about a year now and love coming by. We're always greeted by the cashier, Stephanie T, and she is always so friendly to us and we end up talking about our animals every so often. In addition to her, Daniel is always a pleasure to talk to as well. He is very knowledgable and is always nice when we ever need help . A lot of the staff there is very nice and helpful. Unfortunately, my wife and I came by one day and were absolutely horrified and disturbed by what we saw and heard. We were roaming the isles, just seeing everything new that the store has been getting, when we saw the store manager REPRIMANDING AND LASHING OUT AT AN EMPLOYEE ON THE FLOOR!!! What kind of manager is so disrespectful to their staff that they talk to their employee like that on the FLOOR where anyone and everyone could see or hear. The store manager no doubt did that JUST to embarrass said employee. My wife and I have never been so offended and sorry for someone in our lives. The managers behavior was absolutely DISGUSTING!!! She was talking to the employee in such a DEGRADING, BELITTLING, AND CONDESCENDING tone of voice that I just about stepped in, but refrained since it was not my place to say anything. If I had someone like that woman working for me, I would have had her fired within a week after seeing the way she treated her staff. I SERIOUSLY advise Tractor Supply Corporation to send someone down to this store and talk with the staff and see what exactly is going on. Because if the store manager is that vicious to her employees while out on the SALES FLOOR, I can't even BEGIN to imagine what that woman is like to her employees behind staff doors. This Tractor Supply store is a joke! I needed an adaptor part for my tractors PTO and I just needed someone there to show me they had the part and maybe guide me to the best solution. I called first to ask if they had someone there to help me with this. I let the guy who answered the phone know I didn't want to be waited on by the new employee that knows nothing. He admitted he was the new guy. Oops. We got past that when he assured me that one of his coworkers definitely could assist me with my tractor part need. Ok, I drive down to the store, park in front as hardly anyone is there, go in with my tractor part that needed help and instantly recognize the new guy. He had the 'dear in the headlights' look but was very enthusiastic and pointed me to his 'experienced' coworker. Well she took one look at the part I brought in (pto shaft) and with a look of wonder blurted out 'What's That?' I told her 'The experienced one' what it is and what I needed. She just as quickly guided me to all their tractor fittings and part and let me know from there I was on my own. She was so emphatic about knowing nothing about tractors it shocked me. Who trained this one? This goes to management and what a terrible job they did training here. She could have apologized for having no one in the store who could help and ask to treat it with special attention and return phone call the next. Oh no, that's beyond the three employees I came across. Anyway I leave and call again today. This time I ask for a manager. After a nice long hold, madam supervisor gets on the phone and I proceed to explain what went wrong and how I was treated to such incompetence. So I reexplain my need for a little technical support for my tractor. Madam supervisor quickly let's me know she knows nothing about tractors either but her boss 'might' be able to help if I go in tomorrow.
