i never leave reviews but i cannot say enough good things about this business!! i was passing…read morethrough the area in my camper van and had a medical emergency that was going to put me in the ER. i pretty much burst into camp bow wow and asked if they could take my dog for the day or maybe longer. they were super accommodating, doing her evaluation on the spot and even willing to keep her in a separate enclosure after she passed (i worry she gets too overwhelmed/over-tired in play groups). i ended up having to stay in the hospital for 3 nights and they kept her for me that whole time. each time i called to keep them posted on my situation the staff were super accommodating and very friendly, seeming genuinely concerned that i just get better. they gave my pup their house food each day and told me they had people play individually with her, even tho i'm not sure that's usually a service they offer. i think some boarding facilities care more about money/the business than the dogs they look after, but i could really tell that camp bow wow is not one of those places. every staff member i interacted with clearly loves dogs and they all want the dogs to have the best time while under their care. would recommend to anyone looking for a boarding place in boulder!!

They had walks and playtime. My house was clean when I returned and really the whole process was seamless and affordable. This was my first time having someone stay at my house rather than bring Joy elsewhere and I loved that she got to stay home the whole time where she is most comfortable. Just wanted to say how awesome the doctors and staff are at Arapahoe Animal Hospital. Twinkie, our…read moreterrier mix, became suddenly deathly ill on a Sunday. . My regular vet at Arapahoe was not in that day, so we saw Dr. Califf. Dr. Califf diagnosed Twinkie with pancreatitis, hepatitis, colitis, an inflammation in her liver and kidneys and gallbladder. She was extremely dehydrated so we left for there to be treated. Dr. Califf updated me every few hours with Twinkies care. After three days we got to take her home and continued her treatment and meds at home for 2 weeks. Her follow-up yesterday showed that all of her blood levels are now normal, and she is doing great! Thanks to Dr. Califf and the awesome, compassionate care she got, Twinkie has her spunk back. So grateful to them all!

Here my cat was free to exit the carrier in which he was brought, in order to meet with the doctor to be evaluated before treatment. When they took my cat into the treatment area, I was able to observe what was happening through a window in the patrician door. I was impressed with not just the orderliness and cleanliness of the facility, but the efficiency and seriousness of how the staff performed their duties. Since our recent visit my cat is back to his vibrant old self and honestly, the modest amount that I had to pay was nothing compared to the value of my cats' welfare.

We wanted to address the behavior early rather than let it become more established, so within about six weeks of it starting, we enrolled her in a board-and-train program. We ultimately decided to put both of our Aussies through separate programs: both females, one five years old and the other about a year and a half. The difference has been night and day. Both dogs now have reliable recall, walk calmly on leash, and for the first time, we feel genuinely confident having them off leash. They no longer react to wildlife or other dogs on hikes, the fence running and excessive barking have stopped, and they can calmly sit with us at outdoor cafes and other dog-friendly public spaces. The "place" command has been especially valuable. They can settle calmly for extended periods, which has been a true game changer both at home and when we're out with them. Most importantly, both dogs seem more confident because they understand what is expected of them. My husband and I are also much more consistent and aligned in how we communicate with them and provide the structure they need to be successful. We've enjoyed continuing to work with them every day and building on the foundation Juliet provided. The overall atmosphere in our home is noticeably calmer, more harmonious, and far less frustrating for both us and the dogs. Juliet has also continued to follow up and check in to make sure the dogs are doing well, which is something you don't always see once a training program is finished. It's a tangible sign that she genuinely cares about the dogs' long-term success, and it has reinforced for us that this was absolutely the right investment for our family.

Two of them are my problem children: a Rottweiler mix foster fail who is reactive to bikes and other dogs and occasionally nervous around people like visiting contractors or UPS men, and the other is a 100+ lb Brazilian mastiff rescue from Aruba who is not fond of other dogs. The two of them began showing increasingly worse dog aggression toward other dogs on the trail and while camping, and had attacked several dogs by the time I found Loyal Hound/Juliet. I was at my wit's end, because I had already spent thousands of dollars and tried everything including other trainers at that point with little to no progress. I felt stuck with 2 big problems for the next 6-8 years. I hike at least 3 miles every single day off leash on the trails by my house, and I love to camp with my dogs in the summer, but they became such a liability that walks became stressful and camping became impossible. I finally found Juliet with Loyal Hound, and for our very first session we met at a crowded park and were going to be doing off leash training right away. I was so nervous -- all the triggers were present: other people with dogs on leashes, dogs off leashes, people on bikes, squirrels -- so I was absolutely AMAZED when we were walking my Rottweiler off leash through a gaggle of geese, past people on bikes, and past other dogs within a few minutes with no problems. It was nothing short of a miracle. Within a few sessions, I had both of my dog aggressive dogs walking on and off leash next to me, passing other dogs (sometimes dogs that were even barking at them) on trails safely with no reactivity. I cannot explain in words how much of a difference this has made in my life -- I feel like I got my life back. If you have a dog aggressive dog, this is the place to go. HH willingly accepted him -- he cannot be in the general dog population, and they have a program just for that! Enrichment: He plays and trains with people all day. He can't wait to go when it's daycare time.He loves it and all the staff. Makes it so much easier to board him too knowing he is getting the best care and having a good time. HH sends you a report card during boarding with pics and how things are going. I can't thank HH enough for all they have done for us. They are the BEST.
