He said yes just the one north of here which he pointed out and was basically right next to the rental place. So we figured we won't go that way so we don't have to deal with it. We get to the bridge under highway 18 and going slow because it's no wake and realized too late that we couldn't make it but unfortunately a boat has no breaks and it broke the top. Now why would he specifically say not to go under this one bridge, but not mention the other one that we would almost definitely be going under? I'm thinking they wanted to replace it and this is some kind of scam because when we got onto the boat, the canvas for the Bimini top was already pretty ripped up which we thankfully have photos of from when we got on. They had to call their manager who said we're basically liable for the whole thing, even though the kid clearly gave us wrong information and blamed it on a "miscommunication". Yeah it's a bit more than a miscommunication when it cost us $2,500. Which is what they charged our card. I've talked to friends who work on boats and they said that that price for the part that holds up the bimini top is extremely overpriced. There was also a worker there who the manager tried to silence but heard what happened and told us he could fix it for closer to $500. Needless to say, they are absolutely just trying to make extra money off my family and it's a pretty bad business practice. For a situation where their employee gave us wrong information, it should be a learning experience for them. They also tried to say "well there's a sticker that says lower it under bridges". Well, the sticker was not pointed out and I feel like an employee specifically saying one bridge negates that. We will be requesting an itemized damage bill.

Unfortunately, every encounter I had with this company after the initial introduction was bad. I dropped my wave runner off to be serviced on a Wednesday, and I was told they would look at my ski, call me to let me know what was wrong, then start fixing it. I never received a phone call. Instead, I followed up to see whether the problem was diagnosed, and I was told they'd already started working on The ski. Odd....that's not how they said it would go. I called again, two days later, to see how things were going, and I was told they were waiting for spark plugs that were due to arrive in 3 days. I called in 3 days to make sure the spark plugs arrived, but no one returned my call. I followed up the fourth day, and politely inquired about the spark plugs, as it had become apparent to me that the staff thought I was a bother. At that point, I was met with the worst customer service I have ever encountered. I was given one story after another about what was wrong with my jet ski and where things stood relative to the repairs. On more than one occasion, the owner yelled at me and told me to pick my jet ski up and get it out of his shop. Rather than going to deal with the abuse, I asked my husband to pick the ski up. When he got to Full Throttle, the owner bad mouthed me to him. Then, when my husband asked what was wrong with the ski and inquired as to what he did to try to fix it, the owner said, "I'm not saying." The owner of Full Throtle lacks professionalism, customer service and common courtesy. Don't waste your time or money here.
