After a one on one consultation, it was clear that Lauren could see my vision for the shop. There is something to be said for working directly with your designer, especially when you are investing so much of yourself into a project. I believe that Lauren Brown was excited for the concept I was working on and totally poured herself into the design of my logo. After seeing what Lauren put together for me, I hired her to do all of my branding. My shop is only a couple of months old now and doing well. I have to give Lauren some credit for our initial success. Our logo and branding very effectively communicates who we are and attracts our target market. My inspiration for taking time to write this comes from a compliment paid to me by a customer. They first asked who had done the design and then went on to say that they were also a graphic designer ( he shared his portfolio with me and it was impressive). This guy then admitted that he is usually quite critical when it comes to logos and branding and finds most people get it wrong.
