I want to give a shout out to Disc Hounds on Gay Street in West Chester (next to Rita's Water Ice)…read more We finally got around to having our videos transferred to DVD's. Disc Hounds did so much more than just burning DVD's for us. They used snapshots from the videos on both the sturdy DVD box they put the discs in and on the DVD's marking each new chapter. This extra effort proved to me that they care about their product and their customers, and are not tired of, or apathetic about the family birthday parties, Christmases with grandparents etc. of which they must see a lot. Their pricing was fair. (One video only had only a short amount used, and they priced it accordingly.) We are so glad we finally did this! The DVD's are great fun to watch! Disc Hounds also puts videos in editable digital formats, which I will enjoy as I make family slideshows/videos for graduations, weddings and other occasions.

After seeing an amazing birth announcement done by Lauren brown studios, I contacted them about…read moredoing the logo for my new coffee shop. After a one on one consultation, it was clear that Lauren could see my vision for the shop. There is something to be said for working directly with your designer, especially when you are investing so much of yourself into a project. I believe that Lauren Brown was excited for the concept I was working on and totally poured herself into the design of my logo. After seeing what Lauren put together for me, I hired her to do all of my branding. My shop is only a couple of months old now and doing well. I have to give Lauren some credit for our initial success. Our logo and branding very effectively communicates who we are and attracts our target market. My inspiration for taking time to write this comes from a compliment paid to me by a customer. They first asked who had done the design and then went on to say that they were also a graphic designer ( he shared his portfolio with me and it was impressive). This guy then admitted that he is usually quite critical when it comes to logos and branding and finds most people get it wrong. But, he said, in this case, he couldn't find a single thing he'd do differently!
