Zero Courtesy and respect. I got calls from these folks at ridiculous hours leaving voicemails etc waking me up. There is nothing worse than a call soliciting you to spend money. You have no business calling me unless there is an emergency or an issue with billing/processing which there is none. read more

We absolutely love TPG. Every receptionist, nurse, and provider we've seen has been nothing but kind, attentive, and excellent. I've never felt like any of my concerns have been swept under the rug. I especially appreciate that they call back a day or so after you call the triage line just to check in on my girl. read more

Update: my son had an emergency tonsillectomy three days after he was seen at the Pediatric Group. After a rough couple of weeks, he is doing well. I did receive a phone call from Dr. Fúgate, who did listen to all my concerns. However, my one request, that my son be permitted to meet with the nurse practitioner who brushed us off in order to let him articulate how she made him feel as a patient, has been ignored. I haven't heard another peep from the Pediatric Group. As the practice clearly cares not a whit about our concerns, I will share with the public a photo of my son in the examination room while I was begging to see Dena Taylor or Dr. Fugate. I will proceed with my original plan to report this practice to the state licensing board and to my insurance carrier. read more

TPG Pediatrics - Chantilly - Pediatricians Near Me - Chantilly, Virginia

The complete lack of coordination between the main answering number and the offices is pathetic I asked to get my 2 YO daughters Covid test done prior to her procedure tomorrow. They schedule it. The front desk staff in Chantilly tell me a different thing each time (side entrance walk in only, or okay to walk in front door) this time it was "uhm you need to stay in your car and park at the side and call the main number to let them know you're ready" Okay that's a new one... just double park on the NO PARKING yellow line. Ok. I call their number again, it's the main line "okay someone will be right there" 10 minutes later. A nurse or a medical assistant comes out to ask me "do you have an appointment ma'am?" Seriously. No one communicates at this office. She's been sitting there for 10 minutes and didn't get the memo from the front desk or the call back number and then is annoyed I'm there in the first place. Their staff has little to no experience on coordination. It's like pulling teeth to get them to understand simple requests. Are they medically certified or experienced at all?? Doctors and NPs are great, but if your staff suck then there is truly no point in even coming in. Doesn't inspire confidence in your care. read more

We love all of the staff and doctors and nurses. Excellent care for all 4 of my children.

Today was the third time I made an appointment, showed up, and was told I didn't have an appointment. We have lived overseas for years where it is hard to access and keep a continuum of care. For once I was so looking forward to the idea of being able to stick with one pediatric office and get some support for various issues my teen has been dealing with. It is so frustrating. The first time I had called and made the appointment, showed up several days later at the time and they had no appointment on file for me, but they were able to work me in after me putting up a huge fuss and a bunch of humming and hawing. The second time I made the appointment through their website. I got confirmation emails and text messages both at the time the appointment was made and in the days leading up to the appointment, got there and they said that they didn't have an appointment scheduled for us that day. All I needed was a school form filled out, so again with much humming and hawing, and much insistence on my part, they fit us in. Today was an appointment made in the office with the doctor before even leaving the actual exam room. It was supposed to be the big follow-up after much blood work and getting a bunch of ADHD forms filled out by various teachers, we were supposed to follow up on some medication started at the last appointment and get much-needed support for a possible neurological diagnosis and AGAIN!!!!! No appointment in the system. I really can't with this anymore. They asked if we could to a telehealth appointment tomorrow, but we have to drive 6 hours in the snow tomorrow to a funeral... They must have asked 3 times if we could do a telehealth appointment tomorrow as a solution... No... like I said, we can't do that. This was your chance. Back to square one. read more

We've been coming here for years for my child's annual check up. Dr Niu is very nice and professional. However, the reception staff is beyond rude. We arrived at 10:20 am for our 10:15 am appointment and was told we were supposed to be here at 10:05 am and the doctor might not see us. Staff was rude and dismissive the entire time. Don't let your rude staff ruin the good reputation of the doctors and business. We will not be coming back here again. read more

Got a note today about a missed appt for our newborn where we are going once a week for appts. The note also pointed out that a year ago we missed an appt with one of our other children. At the bottom the note stated their policy that one more missed appt could result in them dropping us as customers. Seriously? That is the dumbest approach to keeping someone around when you are a commodity business. We have zero loyalty to this practice and only go because they were recommended to us. If the doctors there condone that type of service they are terrible business people and if they aren't aware of how that note reads than they are ignorant business people. Not sure which is worse? read more

I've been taking my kids here for years. We LOVE Dena Taylor. She has everything you'd want in a pediatrician. She's intelligent, kind, takes her time, and kids love her. I'm super picky about doctors and Dena Taylor is great. My friends that go there all see Dena to and love her. read more

I have great experiences here with my grandchildren. I staff and doctors are great, and they explain everything in terms that I can understand. I wish my doctors were this good. read more

I love this practice! The doctors and nurses are great. They truly care about the kids and parents. They are accomadating with appointments. Dr. Fugate is my favorite. The last shot my two year had had was the flu shot and the nurse gave her a squeaky toy which helped her get over being her upset due to the shot. Little things matter when it comes to our babies. I have been coming to the practice since my baby was a few days old. I totally recommend them. Very clean and big office. read more

This practice does not care about their clients and Patients at all . Very rude nurses on triage phones, callous pediatrician ( would not write necessary order for Metabolic panel for my daughter even though we requested after her appointment ) and not concerned about losing a client , who's been with them for a while. I requested to talk to her pediatrician to see if she will write an order for missing blood work but she was not available to talk as per nurse and does not know when Dr. will be able to call me back .So, please avoid this group of clinics at all cost . They do not practice patient oriented medicine at all . They treat you as a number at a big box store . read more

I've been taking my daughter to TPG for almost a year and have had nothing but wonderful experiences. They always have readily available same-day appointments and we've never had to wait past our appointment time to be seen. I attribute this to their strict attendance policy about which others have complained. The nurses and doctors have all been pleasant and patient with my daughter. Keep up the good work Pediatric Group! read more

Let me state first and foremost - the folks there are nice but my experience has been less than satisfactory. I went there to take my son for a physical for elementary school signup. Nurse/Doctor gave him standard checkup, and gave back form with height/weight and surprisingly a vision test. The doctor didn't tell me anything of use so it was a quick one. After a month, i get back a bill with info on going to their online bill pay through patient portal -tpg-pc.followmyhealth.com. What a f$#king shitty site. I'm giving them 1 star because the site's so god aweful. I'm required to add a connection to "the pediatric group pc" through a search by zip code or provider. Normally a zip code search is sufficient but it provides search results for MD, Washington and other parts of Virginia before even providing anything close to fairfax. The worse part is i can't even find "The Pediatrics Group" to add as a connection. I'll pay the bill and never deal with this group again. If they ever improve their patient portal, let me know and we'll think about going back. In the meanwhile, there are tons of other, much better, easier to deal with pediatric groups around fairfax va. read more

I've been taking my son here for over 2 years and so far so good. He's been seen by every doctor but I must say Dr. Wise is my favorite. She really took the time to examine my son no matter how much of a fuss he made. She apologized saying she's sorry she is taking so long but wants to make sure she doesn't misdiagnose him. My son can be out of hand sometimes and she was so patient!! I haven't seen her after her maternity leave, I hope she is still there. Very busy practice but wait time is not too long which is always helpful. Overall no complaints and happy. read more

I change my kids doctor because this office was close to my house but what a mistake i made. every time i take my kids to visit the doctor they were bean seeing by nurse not a doctor what a joke. you get charge for doctor visit true your insurance but you get a nurse to see your kids if i want a nurse to see my kids why i take them to doctor i can go to any pharmacy and they well help me to find some Madison. i change this doctor and they want to charge me money to send my kids record to new doctor they didn't even ask me way i want to leave and change doctor. like i said they just don't care they want your money what a petty. if you really love your kids you well never use there services. read more

WISHING THERE WAS A 0 star here I had the worse customer service anyone could experience so I am taking my time to write a review of course! I believe nurse ( Lourdes) was so rude to me starting from when I went over to her desk to ask for a paper filled out so I could go back to work and leave my daughter at her day care with the medication THEY Prescribed her she started saying I needed to fill out my part which I didn't have a problem with it was to fill out my daughters name date of birth etc. then she said I need to put the medication every how often when I had clearly told her I was just in yesterday and that should have been in THEIR records. Clearly she wasn't having a nice day and of course she made me have a worse one by taking it out of me ( unprofessional) I told her that part said it needed to be filled out by the physicians and then lastly she is like " ok I'll call you when it's ready" I was like look I'm already running late for work and you are just gonna call me she says " well the doctor could be with patients " I said you know what just give me the papers I'm taking my daughter out of this office and making a complain about you because you are plain RUDE! I'm Hispanic I don't know if she is racist or just for the fact that I'm young I honestly don't care their office is getting payed and I deserve the same treat as others. read more

All of the doctors are fair, though they don't often listen to what the parent is telling regarding symptoms or can seem dismissive at times. The clinic is managed so poorly. Every appointment we have been to we've waited a minimum of 20 minutes past our appointment time, each time. I was charged for a missed appointment after the staff called me to cancel due to scheduling conflict. We missed an appointment recently due to the entire family being ill with pneumonia and they sent me a nice letter stating they would charge me $50 for missed appointment. That is fine. It was my fault for not cancelling the appointment and I expected that letter would be coming. What I don't agree with is that the letter went on to say that due to the fact that we have missed TWO appointments, the next missed appointment would mean they would be refusing further care. I assume this to mean they are counting the first missed appointment, which the clinic itself cancelled and then sent my bill to collections over (without ever billing me in the first place). Long story short.. I'm looking for a different provider that accepts TRICARE. At this rate, I am better off just trekking to the nearest Military Treatment Facility. read more

Wish there were more stars, 5 does not do them justice. We switched to them after reading multiple reviews and speaking with many, many parents. So this is how it's supposed to be. Two words, child friendly. Caring friendly staff, love the Doctors and nurses. Hardly any wait with or without appointment. They go out of their way to accommodate my sick child. Even on weekends the nurse returns our calls quickly. They answer my numerous questions very patiently. On Halloween the entire staff dressed as Toy Story Characters. They don't complain if my son watches videos on his tablet or on my cell phone. They understand how restless a two year old can be and they are very sympathetic to our needs. Went to the 7:30 walk on clinic this morning and we were in and out in 15 minutes. Our medication is always waiting at the pharmacy of our choice. I finally found a practice we trust for our son. Highly recommend them and I am an anxious overprotective mother. No higher praise. read more

I have had nothing but great experiences up until recently. I called today to schedule an appointment for my 15 month old, who has had a fever of 101 for two days now and they made the appointment. Because I had a balance they called me back to cancel the appointment and they were extremely rude about having $387 balance. So I call the insurance company and they mentioned that they submitted the balance under the wrong ID number as if that was my fault as every time I go to the pediatric group Chantilly - they always photo copy my ID card. So a mistake on their part ended up with them canceling the appointment for my sick son. Needless to say, I am switching practices as I type this message. How is it my fault that the claims were submitted under the wrong ID NUMBER! read more
