My husband is an avid collector of Transformers. And Toy Town has a small selection of it. Transformer Blokees are my husband's new addiction so we stopped in to see if any were available. We have gone through a few of the Blokees series so it was cool to see that they have the newest series available. This is my first time in and I was overwhelmed by all the fun things to look at. My toys of choice is Hello Kitty, anything cute and plushies. I did see an option of Hello Kitty figures but I already have them. I was mesmerized by the cute boba and cotton candy plush. My favorite section of the store was towards the front where the smaller toys and gadgets were at. I love playing with little things and there's quite a few options available. My husband ended up getting a few Blokees blind boxes. I got a squishy boba toy. It was just Valentine's day so I didn't have the heart to ask my husband for the 50 dollar plush. I will have to grab it the next time we are in if it's still there. I would say this could have been a flawless experience but the customer service wasn't there. What confuses me is when people work at fun stores like a toy shop like this, a bakery or candy shop and their customer service is meh. With such a fun venue, good think that someone who is checking you out is happy and smiling. Or maybe I'm just expecting too much out of someone. This toy store is dope. Lots of fun things to see, touch and buy. There's a great variety of options so you're guaranteed to find something for that special someone. It makes my husband happy so that's a great bonus point. Maybe the next time we come in, there might some Hello Kitty options and the customer service will be friendlier. read more

There was a pretty good selection of items but the staff was not friendly. I wouldn't say that their welcome was very welcoming and I didn't even want to be in there for more than 5 minutes. If you're looking for board games it's a good place but wasn't a great environment. read more

I love stepping into this store! I've always been greeted promptly and helped with selecting items. I can tell them the age, interests or needs of the person I'm gifting and they give great recommendations. One of the best purchases ever was an Ollyball for my grandkids several years ago ... it's still being used regularly by the whole family. Grateful to have this store in our city! read more

"Would you recommend this business" Umm hell yeah! Ok. Story time lol. Couple weeks ago, my neighbors cat, Duke, 17 years old got very sick. He passed away from kidney failure. Anyone on here who knows me and my reviews, I've mentioned my little Frankie boy a 1000x who passed from CHF, but in the end, it was kidney failure that took him. So my heart goes out to my neighbor. She was so upset and I 1000% understand her pain. So when I ventured out to get protein powder..I thought..ima get Alison a stuffed toy cat as a "I'm sorry gift" Of course they had one on Amazon but boo! Amazon is ok, but supporting local stores is so much better .. for me at least. Amazon is a last resort. Omw to my nutrition shop, I looked for toy stores that were NOT target or Walmart! Somehow, 3 doors down from the nutrition shop was this toy store! Needless to say, but I was pretty stoked. What made me even happier is they had a gray cat and one that was lying down vs most stuffed animals that are sitting up. Duke had some white on his chest, but the one I bought..did not. That's ok. It's the thought that counts, right? At least I didn't buy an orange cat lol. This store has everything! I was surprised at the decent amount of stuffed animals, they have an entire games section, basically, it's like the old school toy stores that are few and far between anymore because of Walmart, Target, Amazon, etc. I was also happy to see the store with a decent amount of customers. The employees could have been more engaging because they hung out at the front with each other. Call me old school, I guess, but I worked retail and never would have not greeted customers, went to help or at least ask etc. Sad most stores don't do that at all anymore. This place still gets 5 stars because I loved the place. I absolutely recommend it especially to people tired as hell with the janky ass toy sections at Walmarts (eye roll) I love me some Target, we all do lol. However, it's always nice to support local business because Targets and Walmarts don't need us as much...obviously lol My neighbor absolutely loved the cat. Made me happy to see her smile. 17 years with him and losing him...massive jolt. Hell, losing any pet is a massive jolt, a horrible gut punch. Anyway. Go! You'll love it. Even if you don't buy anything..who doesn't like going to an actual toy store if even briefly for memories of your past. Again, if you read my reviews, I'm a huge sucker for nostalgia. When I lived in Carmel-by-the-Sea in California, there was an amazing toy store in downtown called Thinker Toys. As a young boy, I spent many hours joyfully planing with the Brio trains and tracks. How I managed not to get kicked out after many hours is still amazing. Toy Town in Meridian near Kohls and Panera Bread has that same joyful bliss when I have entered with my young kids when we first moved here and even now when they have grown up and left the house, Instill find myself strolling through Toy Town looking at the stuffed animals, independent toys, board games, Lego sets, and yes those Brio trains and tracks. With all the overabundance of toys in big box retail and online, Toy Town needs your support and has one of a kind toys and treasures that can't be found online or in big box retail. When you open the doors to Toy Town, briefly close your eyes and let your imagination roam free and let your inner kid take in all the senses including all the whimsical noises that can be heard. If you find yourself with the Brio trains just know I'll be back on Saturday so save me a spot. read more

This place is an absolute gem. They have an amazing selection of toys and games but what makes this place amazing is the staff. The staff really knows their stuff and has such passion for both toys and games. I went there for a new set of board games for the kids and I to play. I told him the ages and that I wanted to be able to play with just the three of us. He excitedly took me to the game table where I got to try out the games with him prior to purchasing. So much fun! While there we purchased additional toys to entertain the kids unplugged during the biggest snow storm in 30 years. These toys did not disappoint! This is my go to for birthday gifts for kids. Such a relief to be able to support a locally owned business vs big box corporate conglomerates like target and Walmart that I avoid at all cost, I don't want to feed those beasts and their questionable politics. Every time I need something I call ahead and they prepare things for me to select from, the customer service at Toy Town is seriously the best! Hands down the friendliest most helpful. I had bought a couple of games for Christmas for my children. We ended up already having one and changed our mind on the other. They were unopened. I had them ready to return and 2 of my girls came down with Covid and we had to quarantine so I did not make the 30 day window. When I tried to return them the first time it was less than 2 weeks past the window. Also, their computer was down so they could not return them at all. I was told I would have to come back. When I returned the next week and explained the situation again, I got the same reply. I was very frustrated and will not shop here again except out of desperation and to use my gift card. read more

This store is a good toy store. Just that the pricing is a bit high, the good is that you find great things. Store is perfect for kids, even they have access to small carts. The people who work there are very kind. Bathrooms are available for customers and staff. I recommend that you give it a visit when it opens. read more

Not sure how I missed this for so long, but of the 3 locations, this one is definitely the king of the heap. Awesome layout, very impressive selection and knowledgeable staff makes it a pleasure to check out. You probably won't be able to whip through this and it is a touch hidden from the road, but it's well worth the effort to ferret it out. Like the other locations, there's not a ton of mass market stuff here, but there is some cheap. Clearly, they mean to leave the import junk to the larger outlets and concentrate on more unique offerings so if that's what you're after - or are just a fan of toy stores in general - this is the place. read more

The people working there are knowledgeable about the toys and everything they have recommended has been a hit with my grandchildren, I was surprised to see a 1 Star given for customer service...guess there is always one in the bunch!
