We had an in person verbal agreement, he told me in person that an AC service would cost $100 and when I had my son drop off my car for me, he charged my son $225. He up-charged my son because he's a teenager and looked like a perfect victim. This inconsistency between the initial quote and the final charge was very disappointing especially when I was referred to this shop by a friend who is also their customer. As a customer, I value transparency and accountability, and I believe businesses should honor their stated pricing and commitments. I called him directly and called him out on what he did. When my son picked up the car and paid for the invoice, he decided to take $25 off the invoice. What a nice guy? LoL! If work needs to be done under your hood or skirt, make sure you know the details. Cars are mostly done in a day: which is ahead of large auto sales bohemoths. Eastside is true genius. Most days, locals and friends amble on over to chat or drink a cup of coffee or go over sports stuff. It's a fun place - even if you need to wait 15 mins. They have a support staff of 1-2 secretaries who take your name and specs, and you're good to go.
