She's now in 7th grade, which can be a tough time for a young girl but her dance family at TMC has provided her with a positive atmosphere that has supported and encouraged her without fail! It gets crowded but today I was relaxed and enjoyed my workout. Its a large gym so the volume of people continues to flow. There are towels and a shower. The staff seems to get mixed in and isnt as personable and friendly as my normal home one. This gym has it all from pool, to turf like workout yard, to cycles, ignite room, to recovery rooms, saunas and yes private saunas with showers. Well worth the dollar.

I stopped by but didn't get a tour since it was late. I did speak with Steve several times about my pain and history and what exactly we were going to do in the pool. We spoke several times and he was always professional, caring, honest and friendly. I'm planning on starting aquatic therapy before May. I can say I give Steve 5/5 after speaking with him. I assumed that was unavoidable at dance studios until my daughter started dancing at Baltimore Ballet, where students get along and are supportive, the instructors are really kind and welcoming. My daughter is having a lot of fun and is making much more progress, much faster, than she had at other studios. It's really a shame she wasn't here all along. I agree with another reviewer--read the hidden reviews. These reflect my daughter's experience there. Can't imagine why they are hidden.

My dance teachers would NEVER have been so nice. I don't know what those other reviewers are talking about. When I talk with parents, they can't say enough about how sweet the director and teachers are. They also teach solid technique. Knees over toes. Square hips. Proper terms by the time they're teens. Technique that won't harm your kids' joints and will set him/her up for doing well in advanced work. The studios themselves are great, too--sprung floors, Marley, full mirrors, proper barres. They put on great shows multiple times a year with roles for students of all levels. I'm taking off one star only because the place isn't strict enough for someone to go straight from here to a professional school--but I think a lot of parents will LIKE that. My background is Balanchine (SAB) and Vaganova, but locally, I've taken classes at Baltimore Ballet and at Peabody. Baltimore Ballet would be my choice for drop in classes, adult classes, kids classes, supplemental classes, and anyone who wants the chance to perform. Definitely read the reviews that are"not recommended at this time." They are clearly from real students. The reviews that aren't hidden are just weird. All ballet schools require a certain color leotard, extra payment for performances, etc. Baltimore Ballet's performances are spectacular. Lots of class time involves rehearsal for them. If you don't want to pay, then don't, but don't complain that your kid can't participate. December = Nutcracker in dance.

I would be lenient about cleanliness if the actual business operations were well run. Unfortunately that's not the case... The mommy & me instructors are completely hands-off. They don't provide any actual coaching to help kids improve from week to week. The owner, Dave, does not interact with parents at all. He floats in the pool between classes and doesn't make any effort to make the environment engaging or welcoming. Again, I just cannot wrap my head around how this is a place for children to learn.

The kids had a ball!!! Every time my 4 year old recaps the experience she immediate talks about the big box/pool of balls. It was big a fun for everyone. Fun Notables: -The zip line -The balance beam -The trampoline -THE BUBBLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (my favorite) My Gym did a great job. Apparently they order the pizza for you. Seasons Pizza did a good job. The kids had a wonderful time. My son threw the biggest fit ever when it was time to go...geez. My Gym also gave each guest a free class. Nice.
