Everyone I encountered was super nice and friendly to me and my dog. They were patient with my dog too, who has major anxiety. The veterinarian was very kind when assessing my dog and explained her thoughts and what treatments we should do. If I ever need another urgent visit, I'll definitely come back here. We were taken into a clean fresh room. And seen within about 10 minutes by the Dr who diagnosed our girl with a bulged disc without the need of expensive X-rays. We went home with pain relief and instructions. We will follow up with our regular vet this week. Cost was very reasonable for urgent treatment. They will be my go to weekend vet going forward.

I called on Friday afternoon and begged them to not keep me waiting until over the weekend that I used the supply of meds they had her on and they said stoneman was in an appt. I called back before they closed at 5pm they said I'm number one on his call list. Never got a call. Husband calls them Monday afternoon and they said he was in appt. I call shortly after asking them to please promise me that I will hear from him before end of the day and explained the situation of how many times I've called and how long it's been again that they claimed I was number one on his call list over 5 days ago now and asked for my fungal test results but he was in appt and they would give him a note. Never got a call. So I called AGAIN right before closing at 5pm and they said they would be staying after close today and he'd give me a call. Never got a call. I'm just praying I hear from him first thing this morning, I really don't know what else to do other then just drive the hour into town and show up in person at this rate. I'm in disbelief of the whole situation honestly. It's extremely heart breaking the difficulty we have had with communication when in the begining the Dr was so great with us. I'm unsure why it's been impossible to get in contact with him for our results or why we have had to redo blood tests and be asked to bring her down to relisten to her lungs again when they already did that and X-rays showing inflammation. It feels like we spent a lot of money and time for no answers and with a little bit of a wrap around at this point. We were reccomended by a trusted source to come here and our first visit was so amazing that I'm hoping my experience changes because we did love the hospital and our Dr at first. He showed so much care and checked her (what we thought was so thoroughly) while getting down at her level and giving her love. After the two pricey meds prescribed and the unusual redo of blood tests and urine tests the costs are really starting my to add up AND QUICKLY. I fear they will only continue to do so carelessly and with no answers or results.

Dr. Stoneman got a hold of an ER record and took the time to help us get an emergency med kit to take care of her without going to the ER. A week later, I got another call and the vet had taken the time to review her records and make a recommended plan for long-term treatment of the issue. It is hard to find medical services that will take the time to care - Bluegrass Vet Hospital has taken the time and effort to care. Yes, it's a little pricey - but take a look at how sparse veterinary services are (not many people becoming vets) and to find a great one is a wonderful thing. I am grateful and will continue taking her there for her medical needs.

The sitter brought him to this veterinary clinic and they held on to him for over a week till we were able to return. They took great care of him and even made us a paw print mold that we cherish so very much. I'm so extremely grateful to everyone here that helped us through the most awful tragic event that our family endured. I have been and will continue to recommend this place. Its a clinic that does lots of things like nail trimming, ear cleaning, microchipping and so on, but they also fix pets. Their regular clinic hours are Mondays through Thursdays 8:00 AM - 5 PM but surgeries are by appointment only. I haven't found that many inexpensive places to fix a pet in the Lebanon area so this is really awesome!! Female cat $40 Male cat $30 Female dog less than 50 lbs. $53-55 Female dog over 50 lbs. $72 male dog less than 50 lbs. $43-45 Male dog over 50 lbs. $57 They give discounts to non-profit rescue groups who have a large number of animals who need to be spayed or neutered but they also have another option where you can use their mobile station for the day and a vet does 30 surgeries for $1300! Super good deal! That saves so many animals' lives. Fix for life really does so much for the community! They've helped a few rescues that I volunteer with and really have made spaying and neutering possible when it was nearly impossible any other way. I really do appreciate these guys a lot :)

The staff is friendly and thoughtful, and they called a few days later to check on her. We'll be taking the three kittens we still have to Fix for Life as well. I can't justify paying 6 times as much at our vet when Fix for Life does just as good of a job as any other general vet. My only complaint is that it's hard to get them to pick up the phone, and when I've left a message, it wasn't returned. They do work with a limited staff, and it seems like there are times of the day (during designated drop offs in the morning and pickups in the afternoon, I've noticed) where they don't answer, so maybe that's all it is?
