Service and Staff: - Our waitress was nice and accommodating Food: - Mushroom Risotto: friend added shrimp to the dish and liked it - Ahi Poke Bowl: not as good as I was hoping. The avocado and rice were hard. The rest of the dish was good - Bread Pudding: always a hit. Warm, flavorful, filling, and mouth-watering. If you only have space for one, get this before the meal Miscellaneous: - Parking is available via street parking and a parking lot located behind the restaurant - Good for small an large groups - Tables and booths available - Indoor and outdoor seating available

SO SO GOOD! We came on a Thursday night and were shocked at how busy it was. Well it's no surprise why, great service, great food, and great vibes. The whole trifecta! We ordered the following: -spiced pear martini, tastes like a pear jelly belly, so good -cheesy bread, just order it -BLT wedge, bacon on side ofc for this vegetarian and so good -Mac n cheese, tasty -teriyaki skirt steak, my partner loved this Richie was so attentive and really brought the vibes. Our first time here won't be our last! Vegetarian options and pet-friendly patio! With meal options for your pup!

Five stars for the service. From beginning to end, we were greeted promptly, with friendliness, and regular check-ins. I came here for dinner about three years ago with my now ex-husband and a colleague of his. We sat outside on a pleasant weather evening and I do recall being fond of my experience. This last time I went with my adult daughter on a Sunday for brunch. I normally wouldn't drive down to San Carlos from SF. We were in the area for the car show that morning and looking for breakfast and lunch options because it was in between hours (11 AM-ish). The menu is a little all over the place. I have feelings about restaurants and eateries that don't have a dedicated cuisine, but that's not to say I don't like them. I'm not sure how I feel about it with the price range of Town. Town is known mostly as a steakhouse in my opinion, but their brunch menu also has a sushi section as well as classic breakfast items. They also have on the brunch menu things like chilaquiles, loco moco, and tostada. The food is good, but i likely won't be going out of my way to spend a hundred dollars on breakfast for two. Town is almost always pretty busy but do-able if you go in between times like when we did.

This place was really good. A very popular and well known place in San Carlos. The staff were kind, friendly and patient. It was a great place to bring our moms after a beautiful day at Filloli. We were seated at a booth and it was just crazy busy. The food was tasty. Loved the tacos and baked potato. Our Moms had the salmon and my boyfriend had the skirt steak. It was so good. The only concerns we had was the burnt bread and burnt Brussels sprouts.

I stopped by on a weekday for lunch. I got a seat righ away. I went for 2 lunch specials. Chicken sliders are probably my favorite. Chichen enchilada soup had nice flavors. Power shaking beef and Power enchiladas were my other items. Both were good.

I'm back. Wow twice in one week! Lol Mom had a giftcard to use towards the total. We start with the potstickers which had 4 so we needed 2 orders for our group. They were delicious! I ordered the steak salad, love the pickled ginger in it! Yum! Mom ordered the ahi which she enjoyed it came with a peanut sauce like you find for fresh spring rolls and dressed pea sprouts. Dad order the sea bass. Hubby ordered the skirt steak. We all finished our plates clean lol Little miss ordered butter pasta with broccoli. I love how they start the kids with some carrots, celery stick and ranch. She was the only one that didn't finish her food because we were all saving room for their delicious bread pudding! It's so good! Please get it with the scoop of ice cream! You will thank me later!

This was our 3rd visit to Town restaurant in downtown San Carlos. We had brunch there on a Sunday and found parking easily in the nearby parking garage a block away. This place has a very nice indoor ambience, but this time we ate outside in the parklet (that way we were seated right away, instead of having to wait 15-20 mins). They had a space heater right next to the table so no issues with eating outside. Food - I had a sangria (delicious!) and the Chilaquiles (chicken with 2 fried eggs, tortillas, guacamole etc) which was delicious and a very large portion. My husband had the Shaking Beef bowl which includes filet mignon, rice, veggies, onions, tomatoes. Very tasty. Also a good portion. I recommend you check out Town next time you're in the downtown San Carlos area.

Town absolutely delivered. The food was phenomenal, the drinks were perfectly balanced, and the entire experience felt polished without being stuffy. We sat outside on a sunny afternoon that still had a little chill in the air, and they thoughtfully positioned the heaters for us which made it incredibly comfortable. Service like that matters. One steak came out slightly overcooked, but they handled it flawlessly. Not only did they correct it quickly, they insisted on removing it from the bill entirely. That level of accountability speaks volumes. I don't usually gravitate toward fish, but the halibut was to die for. Perfectly cooked, flavorful, and executed with precision. This place continues to set the bar for downtown San Carlos dining.

This place is awesome! Fair warning...this block of Laurel street seems to be permanently closed off to traffic. I kinda reminds me of a Hallmark Christmas movie scene. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the music over the speaker system while we were there was great! (Old School R&B) Service was fairly quick. We arrived at around 7pm on a Sunday night. We were seated right away, and we were done with our meal by 830pm. Highly recommend!

Very busy but was able to make a same day reservation online. Great spot for a 1st date if you're sitting outside (heaters keep it nice and warm). Food was decent and wine choices were good. Good spot, nothing jaw dropping amazing but probably consistent.

Yum!! This place was delicious. Highly recommend the garlic bread, teriyaki steak and Super Bowl. They all had sizable portions. The ambiance was classic elevated steakhouse and our server was nice!

The Town came as a high recommendation from a friend. I'm not typically out in the San Carlos area but I had to make the trip! At first glance, it looked to be that they were very busy. I went on a weekday around lunchtime so a little late is always possible. We found the server desk right inside the front entrance past the outdoor seating and there was tons of open space in nice luxurious booths in the restaurant. The service was fast. The water was always full. And the ambience was top notch. As you can see from the photos, we decided to go with a couple of different starters that were excellent and the main dishes really hit a home run in my belly. I'd recommend this place to anybody looking for a new vibe in dining. Plenty of TVs and a nice size bar area. They did a great job with designing this place and I'll definitely be back for another visit.

Honestly everything was not bad. My biggest gripe though was that these hot plates were heated by two tea lights and basically did little to nothing. You can hold your finger there and it will feel barely warm at all. The food is already cooked so it's not like it did anything other than to "warm." There were other tea light candles underneath and if the other ones lit up, it might've actually did something. If I could, I would've lit them all up since I prefer my food hot. Otherwise, these hot plates are pure aesthetic, near zero function.
