This shop was both fair and professional. I was early to my appointment and was helped as soon as I walked in. Was talk through everything and given a place to wait with a tv playing and free WiFi. My tire was replace quickly and done at a very affordable price. I couldn't be happier. Thanks you. read more

I recently returned after a few years and was not disappointed. I looked online and had an idea of what to expect. I came in and ordered what I needed with options given to me by a friendly and knowledgeable employee. Appointment time was made easily and despite an issue, the staff made it right and I had my car back by the end of the day. Thank you for another great experience. read more

Just bought a wheel/tire package for my Ford Ranger. Jordan was great all the way through. Spent time looking for wheels that would look great and tires that would meet my need. Then was able to match a price on better tires than I was looking at. Installation was great and on time. They even washed the blue dye off the white letters and bagged my old tires for storage. Thank you Jordan! read more

First like they advertise, they will beat anyone's price, brick and mortar or online. Second, the brick and mortar was impressive. The amount of tires they had. Third, Getting an appointment was very easy This was my first experience with Towne fair tire. I was at first a little skeptical. As in my mind I got the impression it was just like another Jiffy Lube. Well how wrong I was. They ordered the tires at 2 PM. My appointment was for 4 PM the next day. They took my car in on time and the paperwork was very fast and accurate. I expected to be there 2 to 3 hours like most tire places. Well, they beat my expectations , and they had everything completed satisfactory in one hour or less. I can't speak for all their stores, but the Middletown Rhode Island Store I can. Joe took my order and Tyler who helped made the experience definitely five stars. I'll be back again. read more

Jordan is the best! Professional knowledgeable courteous. I have always received excellent service.

I used to come here for all my tire needs and the service was top notch. in the last few months their service has become sketchy and their work has been unacceptable. my wife took her Impala in for a pair of new tires. they encouraged her to "rotate" her rear tires to the front for no logical reason. the tech knocked the balancing weights off the old tires and sent my wife off with grossly imbalanced tires. she immediately returned and they charged her to rebalance the tires they had knocked out of balance. i recently received a set of alloy wheels for an antique car and called them to mount the tires. they flat out refused to do for me what they have done for year's previously. terrible service. terrible attitudes. After years being a loyal customer and thousands of dollars in purchased tires I'm done with Town Fair. read more

Bought 4 new tires only to find one flat a few hours later. Take off bring it out there before 9:00 am the following morning to be taken care of. My husband leaves it there and gets a phone call at 3:57. Your tire is all set but we close at 4:00. I can't get there in 3 minutes. Couldn't you have called a few minutes earlier. Sorry we close at 4:00! My husband says I live close and I'm leaving right now, if I'm not there leave it by the door. No we can't do that. Im not going all weekend without the tire. Do what you want I'm on my way. The service provider was at the door waiting. My husband asked about the sensor. Oh you're all set. Guess what...we are not all set. Not only did we receive a defective tire, the customer service was not what one would expect in this situation. Does anyone care about the service they provide??? read more

Took 2.5 hours. Very poor service. Would never use them again. They say 90 minutes and I asked if they were running on time and they said yes. But my car sat until the last 30 minutes they were open. Finally they got to my car. read more

Don't give these jokers and crooks your business. It was rude service for poor quality work. PLEASE don't waste your time.

Great work, enthusiasm and expertise. The team led by Joe were great. I highly recommend them. Thanks, George

A great experience at the local Town Fair Tire in Middletown RI. Tyler and Joe were super helpful in ordering the tires I needed and scheduling a convenient appointment. The process was easy as can be due to their help! Thank you so much! read more

Disappointed in the service I received. I had made an appointment for early morning to have my tires rotated and when I got there I waited 15 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me and then was told, despite my appointment, that it would likely be in an hour and a half wait. When I questioned why so long just to rotate tires, they stated they were a number of people ahead of me. Why bother take an appointment then if people walking in off the street are going to come before me? It's not the first time this has happened at this site and I likely won't be back. read more

I had nail in my tire, they could not patch, they would order a tire for $400 and install a week from now!! Short staffed mechanics who come to work late!!! Manager said the company will not increase wages to attract more mechanics. I went across the street to the Johnnys gas station, and Chris repaired in 10 minutes for $20 including tip. Don't go to TFair read more

Our daughter is a student at Salve and had a blow out on one of her tires just before finals week (and the day before her birthday). It was not possible for her to bring the car home on the spare, and it had to be done on a tight time frame because we had to catch a ferry. Jason was GREAT he made sure that they had the tires in stock and got us right in when we arrived. He gave us the choice of a few tires we could go with and made sure to check all of them to make sure the others were okay. We ended up doing 2 new ones on the rear and they moved the other one to the front with an alignment on all 4. It was reasonably priced and best of all it was done so we could get the ferry with time to spare! Can't say thank you enough it was a pleasure to deal with them and to know they are there if she needs in the future! read more

After going in because of a flat tire, I decided to purchase four new tires. The person with whom I worked explained my options and made a recommendation that I felt best fit my sitution. He advised that the wait time would be about four hours, which seemed reasonable to me on a Saturday morning. (Plus, I had brought a book!) My car was ready in almost exactly four hours. I am pleased with the cost and warranty. read more

Town Fair Tire - Tires Near Me - Middletown, Rhode Island

Do not go here. Horrible customer service. Go to John's next door instead. In fact that's where town fair tire told me to go too. Let me explain.... I was in town from Massachusetts for the afternoon with my wife for lunch. As we were about to head home we stopped for ice cream and I heard a hissing sound from my tire. I panicked because my car does not come with a spare tire and it was now 5pm so places will be closing soon. I checked my gps and was so happy that I saw a town fair tire 3 miles down the road and they closed in an hr. Lucky I made it just before my tire went completely flat from the nail in the tread. Went inside just to be told I would have to wait until tomorrow because they closed in an hr! I explained I just needed a plug but they still insisted I needed to stay the night in RI or go next door and John's and they will help me. And they did even though they also closed in an hr they helped me right away and were extremely friendly. Town fair tire lost a customer for life read more

I went to town fair tire to get too tires for the front and a four-wheel alignment. They told me they couldn't do the alignment because they couldn't get the bolts loose. I said don't you have mechanics? And they said the alignment people are not mechanics. I was back and forth between my mechanic and Town Fair tire twice before they could get my front end the line. A waste of my money and time. Next time I'll take it to a real mechanic to get tires and then alignment. read more

This Town Fair Tire is amazing. I'm from out of state and came to Newport for the day, unfortunately hit a curb and popped my tire immediately. I got towed to this location and the team let me know that they were fully booked but would try to help me out as quickly as possible. Jake and team decided to turn my day around and squeezed me into their busy day to replace my tire so I could get back home!!! They were so kind, professional, and helpful and went above and beyond to help me get home. Thank you so much again to Jake and the Town Fair Tire Team!! We appreciate you so much! read more

Had THE best service guy to help us! Walked out to the car, explained everything well and NOT pushy on purchasing things. Even went to our second car to see if tires were doing good. All of the service people and workers on cars were super friendly and seemed to be really happy busily working there, even noticed great teamwork. Will come here for all tire needs on all of our cars! read more

I had an excellent experience at TFT in Middletown. My tire had a nail in it (discovered it at 5pm on a Wed), and Ed took exceptional care to make sure I was in and out in under 20 minutes. Prices are super reasonable and I can't say enough about the positive experience I received. I will definitely be returning in the future should I have any other tire needs. Thank you very much, Ed. read more

Jordan at Town Fair Tire went above and beyond to help. Despite my tire being a special order from the manufacturer, he ordered my tire ASAP. Also their price match can't be beat. Saved me around $60. On top of it all I was late (I know... I know) and they still got me in and out with time for an alignment too. I won't be going anywhere else for tires in Newport. If you are stopping by, ask for Jordan. The guy is great to work with. read more

Normally, this place is great. But they haven't figured out how to work in COVID times. Knowing they would be short staffed/busy, I made an appointment instead of dropping in. I expected to wait longer than usual but it was 1.5 HOURS before they even took my car into the bay. I couldn't go anywhere because I was waiting for them to discuss whether I need a tire, to pick a tire, etc. it was another 30-45 min to do the work. I'm willing to give some "COVID" leeway but a 2.5 hour wait when you have an appointment is entirely unacceptable. It would not have been an issue if they told me up front-would have dropped the car off. I hope they figure it out because the workers are nice and the service is good. But I wouldn't recommend them right now. read more

I have bought tires here for FIVE different cars! They are good with there price point on tires and terrible on the Service side. I came in to have my tires rotated ( with a appointment) and waited over 4 hours. Ended up have to leave to go back to work. Was told to come back the next morning and they would get me right in. Came back to be told it was going to be at least 3 hours before they could get to it! Came in once more with nail in my tire at 10 am only to be told I would have to wait 5 HOURS! They need to hire more people or something because the wait times are ridiculous! Came back in for a tire that is loosing air. I called in first to see if it could be done today. "Sure " they said. Once arriving I was told the wait would be at least 4-5 HOURS!!!! If a business is doing well and is busy it would make sense to better serve there loyal customers to HIRE MORE PEOPLE !! They have Good people, good prices but need to get more help. read more

I don't know much about vehicles and dread having to get my truck serviced anywhere. I came to Town Fair Tire thinking I needed 2 new all-weather tires for the upcoming winter. Luis told me otherwise and recommended I just get my tires aligned and rotated. He even told me I already had all-weather tires! Lol. I really appreciate the honesty and can't say enough good things about this place. Thank you, Luis! Do yourself a favor and give Town Fair Tire a visit if you ever need to, you won't regret it! read more

Had a good experience following a leak in a run-flat tire on my AWD car. Ed assessed what really needed to be done instead of trying to sell me a second tire when I could get by with just replacing one given the wear of my tires. Made the extra effort to get the tire I needed in from another store and turn my car around by closing time. Would return. read more

As someone who is clueless to tires, this place is amazing. Throughout my entire experience not once did I feel like I was being worn advantage of or that they were trying to sell me something I didn't need. In fact the sales associate went into detail of why we should take the more economic option. Will recommend to everyone! read more

Been coming here for tires for 5 years. Just wanted to give a shout out to Mike, Ed and Melvin. Great customer service and prices. Given the crumby local roads, alignment is necessary every 6 months! read more

We chose Town Fair Tire for the new set after hearing several high reviews. I called for some info and Ed provided plenty. Drop off went smoothly and Ed also offered a few choices for us. They had the car ready a few hours ahead of schedule and even went above and beyond, checking the condition of our spare tire for us. Overall, Ed and Town Fair Tire provided a wonderful experience for our family. read more

***HIGHLY RECOMMENDED*** I was town for a school at the Navy Base....I had a problem with my valve stems and not being able to get the caps off to fill up my tires with air. After a blow out on an old tire I went to get two new front tires the next morning. Store opens at 8:00. I was there at 7:40 and found the door unlocked and someone just starting up their computers and ready to help me. The tires I needed are not typically stocked (for a Volvo awd). They called around and located the tires. The price was great. I was told they would be at the store by noon. I went back to the house for a while. At 11:30 I got a phone call that the tires would be there in a few minutes. Very pleasant experience for what was an emergency purchase for me. Very friendly, helpful, and efficient staff. read more
