I went to Town Fair Tire on a Saturday @ 12:15 P.M. I had a slow leak in one of my tires I proceeded to go into the store to the front desk I walked up to the front desk waited I see a young gentleman on his cell phone he was the only one there no other customers around he had his head down looking at his cell phone after 30 seconds I knocked on the counter I explained the situation they did not have that certain tire there but another Town Fair Tire store did 15 minutes away okay great I'm thinking okay should be @ 1 hour to get the tire mounted etc,, it took a little over 2 hours but I'm not going to bitch...............but when I got the paperwork it had the wrong name, wrong address, wrong city it had my right cell number but at this point I just wanted to get out of there, the new tire tax etc, was $ 218.00 dollars. read more

These guys are the BEST! I made an appointment and went to the Hanover location. I wanted to get a new rim and have them see why my TPM light was always on. Turns out I had nails in two tires that could not be fixed. So Keem had them replace the tires (I had purchased the tire warranty) and instead of replacing the rim he had the tech bang the dent out. I expected to spend over $100 but I ended up only spending $46! Plus I ended up with two brand new tires and tire warranties for both tires. I highly recommend using the Hanover Town Fair Tire location for your tire needs. Keem, treated me like family. Disgusted! I went to Town Fair to have a new tire put on. Right before I went there I bought scratch tickets to scratch when I got home with my family. I got home after having my tire replaced, went to get my scratch tickets and they were all scratched. I called the location and was told that I had scratched them. I called corporate and they said they would send me $50 to replace the scratch tickets. Will never go there again. read more

I needed two front tires and an alignment as my tires were wearing on the inside only. I called and the woman got me the tires I needed at a good price. I explained that I needed them balances and aligned and she told me the alignment was free with the tire purchase, great! She gave me an appointment for 5pm the following day, also great. So I drove the 20 minutes to town fair tire and checked in. It was then that I was informed they don't do alignments after 5... a complete waste of my time. He suggested I drive on my new tires until another appointment where I could get an alignment. I suggested he give me my keys and I'm never coming back. What a disaster. Never going here again. The most incompetent work I've ever had done. Went in for snow tires. First, the price isn't what they had said on the phone. Then they ordered the wrong tire and put it on anyways (literally doesn't fit my car). Also, hey forgot to order the hubcaps they promised (probably because they ordered the wrong tire). They put on the TPMS wrong and 5 minutes after leaving their garage my wife and I have 2 flat tires on the expressway. Drive back on wheels, they "fix" 3/4 of them by putting the wrong tire on yet again (this story could be much longer- the whole thing was like a Seinfeld episode, but not funny). I call their corporate headquarters and ask for a refund, which they approve. Drive back on to get my original summer tires put back on. Complete disaster. Really couldn't make up a worse experience. read more

3 times in a week and a half, back and forth trying to get Town Fair Tire in Hanover to fix 4 leaking tires they installed about a year and a half ago. I still have one leaking tire and after two balancing attempts my steering wheel still pulsates on the expressway. So I gave up and will pay a dealership to get the job done right. read more

These guys are great at price matching. I found a set of tires somewhere else that were significantly cheaper than Town Fair Tire, by $100. I wanted to go with Town Fair because of their guarantees and free alignment, so when I called to inquire about the price match, they were able to make it happen. The experience in the shop was ok. Everyone was friendly, but it wasn't a kind of experience where they went out of their way. The person helping me asked me multiple times about the business I got the lower price from. I'm not sure if they were having difficulty locating the business in their system or what, but it kind of made me feel like they felt I was making the whole thing up. In the end it all worked out and got some great tires on the car. The only thing that was a bit off is the car's internal GPS was reset after the tire change. I'm not sure if it was the way they reset the tire pressure monitoring system or what, but there didn't appear to be any damage done. read more

Jim at Town Fair Tire in Hanover was super helpful, nice and knowledgeable. He gave me all the options and what was going to happen. Also, he was able to squeeze in fixing my tire on a super busy day. My tire had 5 nails lodged in the tire and he was able to pull all of them out, fix it and get me on my way. I couldn't believe he was able to fix it and didn't even charge me. I've been used Sullivan Tire in the past, but let me tell you I'll never use them again. A few years ago, I had a single nail taken out of my tire at Sullivan's Tire and they made a huge deal about it and charged me $30.00. Town Fair Tire is the best!! read more

My tire was so completely flat I thought for sure it had a hole and I'd have to get a new one. They assessed the tire and to my surprise said they could fix it and saved me a couple hundred bucks! I'm a young girl and they could've easily swindled me and I love knowing that I can trust these guys! They should really back off the aggressive upsell of their additional services like all wheel alignment. The salesman stated only front wheel alignment is free, and if my truck pulls to either side afterwards it's not their fault. I told him my truck doesn't pull now so why would it pull after an alignment? He repeated it again. So you give your car to them with no pulling and after the free alignment it pulls? Makes you question whether you can trust these guys and their "free" alignments. I told him not to do an alignment and all should be fine. Let's see. read more

What should have been the easiest sale ever for the "salesman" helping me turned quickly into a no sale for him. So I dealt w/ a different town fair tire store when I bought my last set of tires. They were nice to work with and Town Fair in general has competitive prices. I have since moved and put 95,000 miles on my current set of tires. It was time to get my car a new set of tires. So I walk into the Hanover store "Hi, these tires are awesome, they gave me 95k mi. I want the same tires please" Easiest sale ever, right? Wrong! Salesman goes through the "formality" of checking out my current tires, car make model & mileage. He enters the info into his ipad app which then displays what town fair considers "good, better & best" for my car. Of course mine is not on there because while they offer goodyear tires, they do not push their products. He begins his pitch on these tires, I interrupt and say "I am only interested in the goodyear I came in for, let's price them out". He says he will and continues his pitch on the other tires. He finishes, I say "ok, let's price out the goodyears". He starts pricing out the other tires and then breaks into "What do I have to do to get you into a set one of these tires??" to which I reply "Nothing, I don't want any of those tires" and proceed to walk out the door. As I am walking out salesman trues to scare me back with "You have a lot of miles on those tires, they are not safe!". Thanks dude, I'll take my chances. I go two store fronts down to Sullivan tire: "Hi, these tires are awesome, they gave me 95k mi. Terrible. There is one competent service representative, his name is Jim. If Jim doesn't help you, chances are you met with some punk that wants nothing to do with you (watch out for Michael especially). Michael rose his voice at me because I wasn't being clear with him exactly where I wanted the two new tires installed. This is a tire store and it comes down to the technicians best judgement, that's why I am here. Raising your voice at a customer is obviously a huge mistake in the retail world. After I was done at the front desk I was sitting, watching Michael text away on his cell phone. Seriously awful, why does he still have a job? Needless to say I won't be back. I had a 12pm appointment to change over my summer wheels and tires. I have a winter set with tires already mounted. I get there and first have to wait 15 minutes before anyone says anything to me. No "just give us a second and we'll take care of you" or anything like that. After I finally speak with someone I tell them I have my winter set and am told to drop them off in the back in the corner of one of the bays. I do exactly as what the guy said to do up front. I tell one of the service guys I put my wheels in the corner. The guy goes those are in the way. I'm like I put them where your manager told me to. Then I asked when do you think they will be done even though the guy at the front said hour and half tops. Some wise ass goes 3-4 hours if your lucky. After dealing with the two dumb ass losers in the service area I took my keys back got my refund and left. I will never go there again and advice anybody who wants to be treated like a customer instead of a burden should go anywhere else!!! read more

I can't even believe a place like this exists. I called and spoke with a nice associate on the phone explaining that my tires were awful and I needed 4 new ones, but I am only keeping my car a few months so I wanted them as cheap as possible. The price I got on the phone seemed almost unbelievable. I set up an appt for the next morning and was in and out in 90 minutes. The tires are amazing, and it was almost half of other quotes I got. They will match competitors by 5%, so shop around! Would definitely go back!! read more

I'm typically not one to write reviews particularly not bad reviews however I felt this was well warranted given what occurred at the Hanover MA Towne Fair Tire location. I purchased 4 brand new tires not long ago from this company at this location. The tires barely have 10k miles on them. I noticed what appeared to be a nail in my rear tire. I stopped in to get it looked at. The staff member at the cash register came out with me to take a look. He asked if the tire was losing air (it was not) proceeded to grab a bottle of soap water, sprayed the tire. Stated air was coming out of the tire if he tugged on it a bit. No soap bubbles anywhere that I could see. I then followed him back into the store where he stated I would be able to get back about 44 dollars for my practically brand new tire since it was not repairable due to the location of the nail (and the nail was not located on the sidewall rather the the first groove in the tread)Then proceeded to tell me the tire I had was no longer being made and I would need to purchase 4 new tires at a cost of 500-700 dollars and that was after my 44 dollar credit. Considering all of the tires are pretty much brand new I was shocked. I left the store and went to my mechanic who within moments saw that the small screw didn't even penetrate the tire and the tire was perfectly fine. He pulled it off the tread. I took a picture of what was in the tire. It was barely 1/4 of an inch long. My review here is in the hopes that some other person does not get taken advantage of and talked into purchasing tires they don't need. Joshua was the staff members name. Once my mechanic showed me and pointed it out it was clearly obvious the tire was perfectly fine and didn't even need plugged. Disgraceful service! I do not recommend. read more
