The hostess and server were very accommodating and friendly. My 7 year old granddaughter's caught the Alaskan Waffles. I could taste the processed chicken so k ow it was t a u processed chicken breast sliced up. My husband said his biscuits and gravy were bland with little meat in it. To be fair, the menu says biscuits and gravy, not biscuits and sausage gravely so I think that makes a difference. I told him to just be sure when it just says gravy to ask if it has sausage in it. We had 6 others in our group who enjoyed their meals but also stated it was just ok.

So be careful not to run anyone over... The theme is cute. The inside is a little worn. The plates and cups have grey marks from silverware. The restaurant is actually very big inside. The service was very prompt. I like that the selection of pancakes flavors was beyond what you usually find at an IHOP. They also do crepes and French toast etc. The portions were pretty big! I shared one a plate of pancakes with another person and we couldn't quite finish it. The pancakes were sweet. I don't think they used fresh berries for the compote. It was satisfying. I would say it's very standard pancakes. Nothing was worthy of taking photos of and posting on social media. It felt old fashioned and no frills. The service was fast and the food was filling.

The service was great and completed with a friendly smile. Hubs had an issue with his toast not being done enough. Unfortunately they didn't get him new toast in time, but they did give him a discount for it which we appreciated. If we lived nearby we'd definitely come back.

First off there was literally two tables filled in the whole restaurant and it said sit yourself so we did, in the hall of fame part, well the room closest to the bar but still in that little doorway . We were the only ones in that part but they saw us come in, made eye contact but never said hi how're y'all or Anything. So I let it slide. After I want to say 15 minutes of sitting down with nobody coming to the table, I personally had to go up to the bar And tell the lady , we needed to get our drinks ordered. She then said okay I will be over in a second. She came to take our order yet no menus, so we had to wait for that as well. After we got a alcoholic beverage and a coke with lemon, and water with lemon, she comes back with drinks , no lemon. At that point we said forget it. Then after 20 minutes of her not coming back, I had to go up AGAIN just to find out she was sitting there talking to her coworker . I said uhm we've been ready to order and you haven't came back and she used the excuse she was waiting for bar orders which doesn't make much sense because while you were talking and waiting, you could've gotten our orders in. We order and I ordered the beef brisket or whatever it was and she asked if I wanted the glaze and the BBQ and I was like well if I can I'll do the glaze on the side and she said ok that will work. Then the other two in my party ordered burgers. Waited about 25/30 minutes for food. When she came with the food she finally introduced herself as Kristen. Now the brisket was amazing hands down. However, one of the burgers were made medium rare and also the egg was runny. Then I thought about it. KRISTEN NEVER ASKED HOW SHE WANTED HER EGG OR BURGER. Careless mistake. I wouldn't have been mad if that was all but also on this sandwich, they forgot the tomato and lettuce and the sauce that goes on it. Come to find out they put the sauce in between the two patties and it's a very small amount so you couldn't even taste it . The other burger was also wrong because they didn't put cheese or the right bun on it. Very disappointed for the price of the food y'all charge. Portions and quality is unacceptable. Service is ridiculous. Customers please be aware. You'll probably have to sit at the bar just for good service because that's were the attention was since that's where they stayed posted. You guys need to do more than just "relay the message to staff" you need to fix the broken service. Also she didn't check on the table the whole time after that and I had to go up there again for the check. Took so long to come get it, I payed thru the dumb QR code and left. It seems like all the bad reviews, the owner is trying to justify the fact that the staff can't do their job. That's not something you do, you have to TAKE RESPONSIBILITY. Take action. Make this restaurant better. Not a good first impression for someone visiting the state, won't be back, even if I was in state. This experience was three years ago * hope they've improved. Would still never go back

Nothing close to a typical Wisconsin perch fish fry. In fact referring to it as "perch" is an insult to every perch swimming in the Great Lakes. Thin as paper, soft as mush with a strong hint of fishy fish would have been more accurate than the camouflaged description on the menu. Most of it fed our vacation rentals garbage disposal. One of our crew had the baked cod. It too was sub par, but many times better than the "perch". On the other hand, the bar restaurant itself looked warm and friendly. Lots of wood and a nice view of a portion of the lake. i'd return, ONLY, to give something else on the menu a try. Nothing could be worse than the "perch".
