H.O.F. mini pedal (the small red one) in its new home. I downloaded a set of Tone Prints that I like. Thanks TCM!

Purchased a HOF (Hall of Fame) mini reverb pedal there today. Justin was very helpful and I got to check out some great guitars, amps, accessories and pedals (lots of pedals!) talked to John setting up and modding a guitar. They were actually teaching a guitar maintenance class (FREE) All in all everyone was nice, and worked at getting me a good deal on the pedal. The only negative thing was I didn't have enough time to stay longer ! Highly recommend them.

Okay so if you have any guitar/bass that you want to upgrade, fix, customize, or** pedals to add to your board, this store is the place to go. I have brought my guitar in here for years for setups and upgrades, and it's always been wonderful. The guitar shop guys suggest things I could use to improve my tone, they have quality pedals to choose from. They have locally built pedals like Greer. Seriously just ask them about anything and they will help.

Moved here 2 years ago from California and this will be the only place I get gear from! They installed my acoustic pickup super fast and cheaper than competing stores. I also just bought a new electric guitar from them and it wouldn't have been possible without the super friendly and knowledgeable staff! They have the biggest and best selection of effect pedals I've seen and I'll be back for sure! I've been to 4 other local stores including guitar center and this place blows them away.

Totally ruined my husband's 79 Strat and didn't care. Wouldn't go there if they were the last music store on earth.

If you need your guitar or bass worked-on and done right the first time, Southeast Guitar Repair is…read morethe place. I've now had Barrett and his crew work on all three of my electric basses, and I've been thoroughly pleased with the results. The simplest job was just a fret-clean and setup; the most complex was one that needed the fingerboard re-leveled and re-fretted and new inlays installed plus a new nut, following 24 years of sitting in a closet not being played after another luthier did a lousy job re-fretting it in 1991. All three basses were a bit dull and tired when I dropped them off, and all three were like playing a new instrument when I picked them up- they were full of life and sounded excellent. Having such great and enjoyably playable instruments has been a factor in my renewed interest in playing music, and I'm loving every moment. The easy one got turned around really quickly, and the most complex one took a couple of weeks- which was perfectly fine with me, as I understand craftsmanship and made it clear that I didn't want anything to be rushed; take all the time necessary to get the right result. I can't say enough about SEGR's craftsmanship. Everything they've done for me has exceeded expectations. I never knew my basses could be this good! Don't let the smarmy and amateurish ad-copy on their website fool you; these guys deliver excellent service with a smile and have always been great to deal with. I have no complaints about the price of SEGR's services either; I think I've been charged very reasonably for the quality of the work, especially since these guys are real, professional luthiers and not just the repair-counter at a music store (no offense music stores, I love you guys too). SEGR is definitely who you need to call when you need your guitar repaired. I will absolutely be back!

The staff is friendly, the shelves are well stocked, and they have a wide variety of music books and materials for piano. Anything they don't have they can order for your or get transferred from another store. It usually arrives within a few days and they are very conscientious about calling to let you know it arrived in the store for pick-up. If there is a specific song you are looking for they will search it online and print it right there in the store for you. They also have many good sales throughout the year. I have recommended the full-size digital pianos to my students and have always been pleased with the quality. Many times you can get full-size digital pianos for $400, which is a great deal for the decent quality. However, keep in mind that the staff works on commission so they will try and sell you the more expensive item. Listen to your music teacher, and get what they recommend, not the sales people. They have material for both ABRSM and NFMC Federated Festival. They are also very supportive of the local music teachers association. On a regular basic they provide hospitality and refreshments for our monthly meetings. Several of my high school students have also worked there over the summer. I like that they are good at hiring temporary summer help. The only thing to be cautious of is renting instruments. I have never rented so I don't have personal experience, but I have heard stories from my students renting instruments for band or orchestra. Make sure you know all the details of the contract you're signing and read all the fine print.
