Never actually purchased anything from them but came in for roses on Valentine's Day. $125 for predone bouquets that looked like they've been sitting out for way too long. When I asked to just get a wrapped bouquet of roses I was told it's the same price. Went up to the street to my usual spot and paid $75 for 12 fresh roses, a vase, and a balloon. I don't plan on ever giving them my business after this experience. I've bought enough roses on Valentine's Days over the years to know what they cost..and this was blatant greed. I'd love to support the local business but I will gladly drive 10-15 minutes in any other direction to avoid giving them any of my money. read more

We used Towers Flowers on a recommendation from Ava's in Mastic (also Highly recommend) for a same day funeral. They made the most beautiful arrangement of all there on short notice. It was delivered on time in about 4 hours and at about $50 less than any internet price. Be sure when you call you are getting Towers Flowers and not Ava's Flowers, which is a service that intercepts calls and gets a commission and sends crappy flowers. I have done business with Towers Flowers in Nesconset for well over 10 years. Their service and product was always great with reasonable prices. Now, with what are apparently new owners, they have, in my opinion, really gone down hill in terms of quality, customer service and price. A funeral wreath I ordered a few months ago was double the price under the new owners and the quality of the arrangement was terribly embarrassing especially considering the $400 price tag. Figuring it might be a one off I called them today (a Sunday) for a wake scheduled on Tuesday. Despite their Yelp site indicating they were open from 9-5, my phone calls (two) were not answered (11:15 AM) with calls going to voicemail. I will be looking for a new florist. read more

Both times I ordered through them, I gave them the price that I wanted to pay with delivery included and told them to create the best bouquet possible with the price I told them. I've stopped in here a few times to grab a quick bouquet and the service is always good. The premade bouquets are beautiful and well priced. I just hate how messy it is in there. I've never been in there when there wasn't boxes and boxes of crap all over the floor and it's a pretty big space for a floral shop! My girlfriend used them for her wedding and I went with her to a consultation. It went well and she was happy with the choices they presented to her. Call ahead, or go in a few days early and discuss what you want and then come pick it up at your leisure. If you don't know what you want, they'll be more than helpful in choosing something to get across what it is you want to say. Many times I've used this place, and more often than not I really have no idea what I want to get. That doesn't matter because I'll pick out a few things I think look good, and they pick out complimentary flowers and then come up with a great arrangement. Just moved to the area and tried the local florist. I ordered a $50 bouquet for my mother's birthday. I picked up the arrangement at 12:00 pm and it presented nicely. After placed in water in a vase, 4 hours later the flowers were wilted. By the next morning the flowers looked awful. Spoke with the manager who asked me to bring in the dead flowers and she will replace them (awful suggestion), next she offered to refund me $6.00 for a dead hydrangea. The condescending attitude and short abrupt tone was extremely disappointing. Needless to say.... I do not recommend this establishment and I will not be back. read more

We really wanted a custom piece in the shape of a Yankee symbol but there was no place in LI that understood what we were looking for and only offered us the $600 option so I settled for a Spray with Yankee symbols on the ribbons. The amount and quality of flowers is very generous and the style never fails!! I will always keep coming here for flowers as they are definitely the best ones around the area in comparison to other flower shops. My two recommendations: One is to have little bit more customer care. Most of the time I am not acknowledged or greeted with or without a wait. I wait at least 10 to 15 mins if I am one customer behind. If it is really busy i can understand, but just walking in and saying hello with no acknowledgement is a little rude. In return, however, they do take their time to make sure the bouquet is nothing less than perfect and happy with the customer. Second, I would take a little more caution walking in and perhaps keeping the customer area better kept. This is a small place, but you can tell even in the back it's pretty messy. I live in CALIFORNIA, and quite sadly, my sister and a best friend of of the three of us learned that a childhood friend of ours had died to what seemed to us as suddenly. Jaime assisted w/ coordinating the delivery to church and shared w/me how our "family" are doing . We all grew up w/the newly widowed husband and we are so grateful to have been able to reconnect in time to help our family. THE PRICES ARE UNBELIEVABLY REASONABLE . Ordering from clear across country I had no idea what to expect - again - Jaime was calm and empathetic during the call.
