I've never been to a florist as superb as this one! I've been actively going to this flower shop for around 15 years now and every single time they deliver beyond what I was expecting! Every year for Mother's Day I get my mom something and they always have the most unique pieces! One year they even made me a really amazing spiral shaped piece. Their creativity is what draws me back there every single time. Noreen is the owner and she's never been anything but the kindest person to me and to everyone I've seen in the shop at any given time. She was there for me when my Grandmother died as well--she got every detail right down to the corsage I wanted her to wear. Her compassion and dedication to her craft are nothing short of revelatory. During the handful of times I have tried to stop by this establishment, making sure I am choosing different times a day to increase my chance of catching them open, they have been closed- despite the numerous signs indicating they are open. Today I stopped by at 12:30 pm, and a paper sign had written on it "re-open at 1 pm." I returned at 2:30 pm to the lights on but door locked and a woman saying they were closed. I had ordered flowers last minute Saturday for my grandmothers funeral on Sunday through 1800 flowers which were prepared and delivered by another local florist. When I arrived at the funeral home I was horrified by the embarrassing, half dead arrangement that had been delivered. The funeral home called Noreen at Floyd Harbor and she could not have been more wonderful. She was so sympathetic and kind, stopped what she was doing and delivered an incredible arrangement before the first wake was even over. I could not be more grateful for the time she spent and the product that was delivered. It was so kind, especially on such a hard day. I will not go anywhere else for my flowers going forward. I always stop in here whenever I need flowers for an event or something going on in my life and I'm always helped by the same gentleman. I specifically travel halfway across the island to go to this florist due to the fact that they always help me out and show me different things they could do for me, being that flowers are most definitely not my strong point.The price is extremely fair and they always go over and beyond putting bouquets together for me. My wedding was 1/24/2021, my MOH (my sister) ordered our bouquets back in Oct to be picked up at 11am on 1/24/2021. She got there at 10:45 and they said pickup was 11:30...ok fine she sat there and waited and told them again the limo was leaving my house at noon..11:30 comes and goes and nothing. She calls and they say the floral tape is drying...so she waits....11:45 comes and goes... they stop answering the phone completely. We all tried calling. Finally..at 11:55 they bring out the flowers. Said they went to make it that day...didn't have the flowers that were ordered..sent someone out to try and find them.. didn't so they just shoved fake flowers in half my bridal bouquet. It looked nothing like what we asked for. The boutonnieres werent right at all. My MOH got back to my house after noon, and still had to get dressed because she didn't expect to spend an hour in a parking lot. My sister didn't get to help me get ready...and we were now almost an HR late. Instead of 1 1/2 hrs for photos..we had 15 min. It's bad enough we had to postpone our wedding twice because of Covid, and then to have a professional business be the one to hold up a wedding is unacceptable. We tried calling them at 11:40 to tell them to deliver the flowers since they weren't ready so we could leave ontime..but they stopped answering all the phones and no one was allowed in due to Covid. I didn't get most of the wedding photos we wanted because of them. This is something you can't go back and get...the day is over. They are a professional floral business who handles weddings..it is not acceptable to hold up a wedding almost an hour. We got the feeling they forgot about our order..and threw something together with leftovers. It was supposed to be jeweled and they just shoved a few strands of beads sloppily in it. We still had to pay the photographer for the hr he was sitting around waiting. We paid for a trolley instead of a limo so we can used it for photos and didn't even get to use it at all. We wasted so much money and weddings are expensive as it is. We were beyond disappointed in them and so upset. Our day was beautiful otherwise, we just wish we could have gotten all the photos and memories we planned on and got to use everything we paid for. My friend had used them in the past and they were great for their wedding... But they really dropped the ball with us, and did nothing to help us in the moment even thought they were told repeatedly we had to leave. read more

James was a pleasure to work with and immediately understood the vision i wanted , which was very muted colors of nudes,whites and blush/beige while still having a winters vibe. They arrived on time , to drop off the girls and guys flowers which was a huge stress relief as well. My boutique was everything I envisioned for my wedding day , i wanted to stay away from then greenery as mush as possible even though it's very in right now and James did just that ! Don't even think about purchasing flowers here! I went to this florist after work to pick up flowers which I had ordered 48 hours prior and proceeded to wait on line, was not greeted by any employee and as I rolled my eyes, a tall woman with long dark hair starts to berate me for rolling my eyes! She basically verbally attacked me in front of at least 3 customers and one of her employees. I had explained to her that I was waiting on line for some time, never was even acknowledged walking in the store and I was picking up a $75 pre-ordered flower arrangement. She proceeded to say to me don't come back to this store because I don't want your business. I was horrified! This is how you treat your customers?!?! I did get back my deposit and she continued to yell and berate me as others stood there in astonishment. At one point, I asked her to stop talking to me because I am not going to argue with her. I have never been treated so horrific in a store before! If she is the owner, I really can not believe that she thinks it is okay to behave this way to ANYONE! read more

Used them for our wedding, wasn't a fan. Very confusing, gave us one price and then changed it and wouldn't honor the original price. Really annoying as I always ask the price of things and keep note of it. The price was only like $30 dollars off but still she wouldn't honor the lower price. Mailed the paperwork to our house and the info was not right even though we gave it all to them written down on paper. Had to keep trying to call and get it fixed. I have used Floyd harbor since they opened and in saying that I considered myself a valued customer. however today's experience changed my mind completely. I ordered a bouquet a week ago to be ready today at 2pm I got there and was told by the owner that the girl was just wrapping it up. This was not so at all the girl was just grabbing any flowers to START the bouquet. All I can say is WOW! I used Floyd harbor for my wedding flowers on 9/2 and they were beyond beautiful. I knew I was in great hands with Noreen and James from the start. Noreen sat down with me and went over every detail of everything I wanted for my wedding, she had pictures and an entire page of notes for all my stuff. She made a mock centerpiece for me to see a few months before my wedding and the final product was absolutely stunning. I had my bouquet, 9 bridesmaids, 9 groomsmen, 2 ring beaters and 2 flower girls, 2 sets of parents, and 2 grandparents plus 24 centerpieces. My colors were coral and mint, 2 colors that are hard to match, and Noreen and James absolutely crushed it. All my guests were raving about how beautiful our flowers were and still are!
