One of my top 3 burger joints in the Tri-City area. Their burgers, dogs, and fries are top quality and worth every penny.

I ordered a pulled pork sandwich & it had basically no pulled pork what so ever. LITERALLY JUST FRIED ONIONS & BREAD!! & the little of pork that it did have had no flavor at all, they didn't even put bbq sauce. I was so disappointed bc it was my first time there. I also ordered it with a side of loaded fries & the fries were literally black from how burnt they were. Unfortunately the only good thing was my beverage. read more

Empty restaurant, cashier no where to be seen. Walked to the other dining area where you could see the kitchen. Still no service. Went back to the cash register waited still no one came. Cooks were talking but did not even acknowledge if anyone came in. Since I was not served can't review the food. At this time not sure how to rate. read more

Food took forever to come out, I saw my burger waiting just sitting there I guess they wanted to bring all our food at once but my food was so cold by the time it came, and it was super over cooked and honestly almost burnt. Service wasn't bad other than that, but still super disappointing. read more

Burgers are way overpriced. The chicken was super dry and all they could offer was a 15% off to "make up for it". Waste of money.

We have been to Tower Burger at least 5 times while in Alamo this winter. Very good until today. We have heard it is hit and miss, we experienced the miss today. We went in about 3:30. We ordered 3 burgers. The meat was all overcooked, dry and burned. The buns were dry and over toasted, crunchy. We did enjoy the donut hole sundae, very good. I write so hopefully the management will know that whoever was cooking today really did a very poor job. read more

Right off the bat we had a sticky table and we saw dirty tables that didn't get wiped down the entire time we were here, our server is quite something! We waited for at least 45 minutes!!!!!!!!! might as well bring a sleeping bag your gonna be here awhile! Our server had to ask us what we ordered! Our food was cold ! We got our chicken wings as our appetizer COLD had to have been sitting out all day! I mean how much worse can you mess up chicken i mean not even microwaved! come on tower burger do better! read more

Good burgers. Fries are fresh. Well portioned. Good service. Clean. Wait staff awerw friendly.

Decided to head out to tower burger here in Alamo tonight. We had some bourbon wings, fried pickles and I head the bacon burger with onion strings. Absolute deliciousness. read more

Great burgers! I had the Smash burger. Tasty, tender, cooked just right. And the bun! Soft & toasty. Unfortunately, I made a mistake and ordered fries instead of onion straws. They don't fry the potatoes long enough. Way too limp. Not crunchy. Their soda machine was not running so they offered canned soda, as many as you wanted. read more

Fresh and delicious! Because the hamburger was fresh and lots of vegetables. It was great! read more

Burgers are amazing. You better bring your appetite to Tower Burger Co. If you want to support a local business this is the one. Bit of a wait for your food I'll tell ya that. read more

Food is okay however overpriced for something you can get elsewhere at a reasonable price with better quality

Love the wings and curly onion rings. The many sauce choices make it a tough decision. The only negative is the skin and sauce are not soft and chewy but rather hard and crunchy. Almost like they are in the frier to long. All in all, we keep going back. Love the burger days with many choices as well. That's for another review. read more

One hour wait on a Tuesday night. Burger was suppose to have chili on it. The waiter had to point to the teaspoon of chili. Fries werelimp but tasty. The fried pickle order never came. Asked for a refund. Let's see if it happens. I use to like this place. Sorry, but I won't be back. I like to support local places but this one has missed the mark. What's with the sticky floors? read more

I don't mind spending money on a good burger, but they were overpriced for a FROZEN non-salted patty. I was grabbing every condiment, pepper, and salt to make up for the blandness. It was so disappointing. I hope they can switch to homemade Patties. read more

Great food. The wings are my favorite dish available then the burgers. The tea is great and made fresh often.

Great food as always but what was really disappointing was the cleanliness of the place. I took some friends from Harlingen to have lunch here and as we walked in to get a table after ordering we noticed the floor was very sticky as we walked. Once we sat down, the bench at the table had little pieces of fries. The table itself was also very sticky. My friend got some cleaning wipes from her car and we wiped the bench and table. The wipes were black with dirt and grime after we were done. It was about 11:30am when we went and there was 2 other customers sitting down so it wasnt really packed or busy at the moment. Im thinking the place is just not staffed properly and/or not reminded to properly clean the eating area. Managment needs to step it up. read more

This burger place is a good alternative to the chain restaurant that plague the Rio Grande Valley. It's not near any major shopping centers, so it will be off the beaten path but it's worth the deviation and easy to find. About a mile south of the expressway. The burgers themselves are satisfying and scrumptious. There are better choices for fries out there, but they are natural and so compliment the burger. You may want to have only one person order fries and share them with someone. The servings are large. The sweet tea is not too strong and is enjoyable. Come here, you won't be disappointed. It is also conveniently located next to a coffee shop if you have a sweet tooth afterwards. 4th time coming to #TowerBurger. There was a biker gang in here with over 20 members occupying tables (Bikers Against Child Abuse). A family noted people standing around and they left to make room for others. Tower Burger apologized for the delay and brought us a complimentary basket of cheese fries for the delayed cook time. That's customer service. My review has been updated from 4 stars to 5. I'll take customer service over anything anytime. read more

The floor was super sticky and the restaurant was pretty warm. My husband got the patty melt and he said there was no sauce or anything just meat on toast. I got the pork burger and it was ok. We won't be going again. read more

The burgers here are probably the best I've ever had, and I have eaten burgers around the world. Nicely toasted buns, juicy burger patties, melty cheese, delicious fresh toppings and those amazing onion strings! Try all the variations so that you can choose your own favorite! Best cooked medium rare to medium! Definitely try the loaded fries too! Never been disappointed with the food! If you decide not to stop in though, that's okay too, because then there's gonna be more room for me! read more

Stopped by for dinner after the long ride back from the Island! The staff was great as we had never been. The burger was very tasty, got just what we ordered. The chili dog was a little tiny on the dog part. While the chili was very tasty, there just wasn't enough hotdog. read more

Great burger!!! Huge!!! We've eaten here twice and I've never finished more than half a burger at one sitting. I think they're 1/2 pound patties. Anyway, come hungry or take half home. And their fries are really, really good. They appear to be fresh house cut potatoes and are some of the best I've ever eaten. Also, not to be missed are their onion straws. Eat 'em on your burger or like the fries. They are tremendous. You can't go wrong here.. read more

What happened? Thin overcooked patties, buns too big for the bread, and soggy, greasy fries. Gonna find a new burger joint read more

Most of the food was good, not excellent. Diet Coke was out of product and Coke Zero ran out while we were filling our glasses. Service was good. The restaurant was dirty - floors are filthy and sticky. The men's room was not particularly clean and had no soap despite the fact the cleaning sheet on the door indicated that soap had been checked - perhaps that just meant it had been checked and verified to not be there, but that is not acceptable! read more

I did like it, we were around 20 people and we got our burgers and winds really quick and they were hot temperature, the service was really good. Observations, have two cashiers instead of only one, the menu it's too big and a little confusing, remove the lamps in-front of the menu!! You can only see the menu when you are in-front of the cashier we couldn't see it, and change your ranch, it was way too liquid. Hope this help to improve your business. I said I would not prolly return...not that their burger was bad or the service. But since my nephew was back in town and he likes burgers I thought we try out tower again especially hearing about their wings and some other minor changes. Well honestly to say I was really satisfied with the food today. Seem portion and menu has really changed since my last visit 2 yrs ago. Beef was Medium red as I requested, not last time which I never remembered being offer that. Got the Tower burger with added sauteed onions and mushrooms...very good. Their wings were pretty good...verry simple flour blend so you still get that light crisp bite. The best part is their fries...I just like how it's semi soggy and soft. read more

This is the best burger I've had in the area, and perhaps even anywhere. The customer service is phenomenal. The staff is all smiles and greets you from the moment you open their door. Your order is placed at the counter and they bring it to your seat. We split the 1/3lb Buffalo Bleu (in hindsight my husband would have preferred his own). It was large and very well dressed, and served with a mound of hot fries. Everything was hot, fresh and packed with flavor. The restaurant interior is well designed- cozy with spacious booth seating and good music that doesn't overpower the conversation. Keep up with the awesomeness Tower Burger! It did not go unnoticed. read more

Very very good burger. I ordered the Bacon Cheese Burger but had them substitute American cheese with Cheddar and added jalapeños and fried egg. Very very good. The fries are good but it's missing something. Maybe seasoning. The establishment is very clean. They have TVs up to watch whatever game is on. Definitely recommend and will come to eat again. read more

Not as good as build a burger. They really need to put seasoning on those Patties!! Even black bear dinner has better burgers!

I always go to this burger place and not going to lie it's delicious (bit pricey but it's good). But one thing that bothered me on my trip last night when I went, was that the cashiers was offering us the deals of the 0.25cent wings which I kindly declined and went ahead and ordered my bf and I's burger with our loaded fries(which had 3 small pieces of bacon btw and weren't loaded how they normally were with bacon bits) and at the end of the order she then offers us a cake which looked delicious but the cashier didn't let me know the price of the cake until I saw my receipt which was literally $6.75 ($7.30 with taxes). Let me tell you about the "delicious" Oreo cake. It was literally the most repulsive thing I've EVER tasted, and I regret ever buying it honestly, it was too hard, and felt like an old slice of cake that had been left out for days (which probably is the case).. From the pieces that I ate, I've had horrible stomach pains and don't even want to move from how painful. So word of advice, don't buy those almost $8 slices of cake and pastries that look nice and delicious that are near the counter because you will end up probably throwing up and sh**ting yourselves. Go to H‑E‑B and buy yourself a big cake for that price tbh. I usually don't do this, but like damn I'm paying for the Tower Burger Co. quality. Guess it's just a regular burger joint. ‍ read more

Have yet to try the burger, will update when I finish it. It looks incredibly welcoming, has a very local vibe in the best way, the burgers look amazing and they have the music playing at the perfect level. Have sports playing on tvs. BUT for the love of GOD have a cashier that acknowledges your customer when they approach the register to order, nothing breaks that exciting feeling of trying something new more than a face that just stares back at you, and says nothing!!! How about a hi! Welcome to tower burger! Or hi! How are you all? Or hi! May i suggest so and so?!? I swear that girl at the register needs some customer service training! Update: The burger was fucking great. read more

I am so mad and disappointed with tower burger. Last week my daughter went by on Wednesday for the .25! Cent wings and they ran out ok no we went today on Wednesday earlier and they ran in the wings. What the hell are they trying to do if you have a special you should stock up on the wings knowing that you ran out of them last week you should do something about it, so I am very disappointed with Tower Burger so just to let you all know do you need to get there at 11 when they open to get the $.25 wings. So we're going to the one in McAllen and the same thing happened they ran out of wings last week and this week. Let me know should I be mad or should they just bump up their wing order? read more

Great service, great food, great vibe. The only thing that is lacking, in my opinion, is a veggie burger of some type for those with dietary restrictions (which is the only reason why I left 4 instead of 5 stars). The staff are doing a great job offering drive thru/curbside during COVID restrictions. Great place to eat, just no vegetarian options unless you are pescatarian. read more
