purchasing the motorcycle trailer was pretty much hassle free but be on the lookout for this. the tires came under pressure but that wasn't the be concern, the wheel lug nuts where only tighten to around 20 to 25 foot lbs, they need to be 60 foot lbs. I also checked for grease hubs and very little grease was in them so grease them up as well. besides that everything else looked good. if the last two things were done correctly then I would have gave them a 5 star review. read more

Follow up review regard the product for the most part. While I understand that the trailers are not manufactured by the seller, there should still be some quality control. I've owned a tow smart trailer before buying this one which had zero issues (I regret selling it now). After an issue with a tailgate not opening completely because the hinges bind. I now have an issue with the included ramps not lining up. I cannot install the ramp support rods so using the ramp is almost impossible. the support rods are needed for the ramps to work so the ramps will not wobble or else you will fall while riding up the ramp. I emailed and followed up about the 2nd set of issues but I am being ignored now so here is my update on my situation. TLDR: trailer quality is hit or miss. I love the fact that I don't have to use an electric brake - but the unit has "surge-brakes" - brakes that don't require any special hook-up. I have towed motorcycles many, many thousands of miles and did a lot of research before purchasing my tow smart dirt bike trailer. I rented my local u-haul moto trailer so often that the local store started referring to it as my trailer. The u-haul trailer is a great deal, only $15 a day, so why did I buy a tow smart? Transporting multiple bikes: without multiple wheel chocks, it's a lot harder to secure your bikes. It's do-able if you push the tires right against the trailer bed and go crazy with ratchet straps but it's not ideal, and the front wheel can potentially move and the bikes can scrape against each other. Weight: u-haul moto carrier and other converted moto trailers are far heavier and you ended up consuming far more gas. The tow smart is very sturdy but much lighter than standard heavy duty all purpose trailers. Storage: you can fold this trailer up and stand it against the wall. Save a ton of space in the garage. I was very happy with my experience purchasing and the delivery process. I had inadvertently selected an incorrect delivery option and tow smart customer service was proactive about reaching out to me to get confirmation and changing my shipping method. They use a great shipper who also helped me get my trailer hooked up to my suv in the rain. Very responsive customer service overall and even threw in a free upgrade for a matching spare tire. Hi. I bought a folding tow dolly in March 2021 from your company. Since I got it, I have used it on two trips once last year and once this year. Halfway through our trip this year the diamond plating on the passenger side started to lift up, then the taillight broke loose at the welds. I took off the taillight bracket since it was ready to fall off and the fender started to Crack. I also put some self-tapping screws in to hold it in place. By the time we got home the fender looked like you see in the attached pictures. When I took the car off the dolly the bracket that holds the ramp was also broke. (See Pictures). Also, the brace on that same side was very loose. I called German (not sure of spelling) when I got home last week. He asked me to send pictures of the dolly. I sent the pictures and called him back on 6/20 to make sure he got them and to see if they were forwarded to the warranty dept. to see if they would replace or fix the broken parts. No response the two times I called, and I left a message. I hope this is not how you treat a customer just because the 1-year warranty is up, the parts/tow were obviously defective or there was something wrong for everything to have happened to the ones side only. I hope to get some response in rectifying this problem. I am forwarding the original email as well so that you can reference the pictures attached. Greg This is a copy of an email sent to the company, the response was we would have to pay for a new fender since the warranty was up (2 months late) BUT they would send us the bracket. We purchased a new fender and received it quickly. Still waiting on promised bracket. We have emailed several times and called (which calls are ignored unless we call from a private number) As you can see the original email was from June and it is now Sept. Also, since the original email the other side bracket has broken off. Poor manufacturing for the amt you pay. Brackets should have been reinforced at the weakest point per a machinist/welder. Just got to the DMV and I'm finding out that Tow Smart never registered my trailer in California. Tried calling but no one answers. We paid for extra Shipping and picked up from a freight carrier in the bay area. I didn't mind the extra shipping, and pickup from carrier, but the inconvenience of taking a trailer to the DMV to be inspected, is really massively inconvenient. Be warned that this company does not register their trailers from the manufacturer. We purchased from a California dealer to avoid this. Pretty upset about this. We never received a California title. Shame on you Tow Smart. It's just plain lazy. Update: After speaking with some one from Tow Smart TRAILERS, I have been informed that this is not a trailer dealership and they do not sell trailers, they only sell "Kits," not trailers (even though when you buy one they come fully assembled) wtf? So don't expect any registration, from this non-trailer, non-dealership, trailer dealership. I guess it's a neat way for them to cut their costs... I will acknowledge there was no registration fee calculated upon checkout; however I was under the impression I was purchasing a fully functional street legal trailer (and I did). The trailer in question is a folding motorcycle tailer. The reason we purchased from Tow Smart, and not locally, was that Kendon trailers are on backorder in our area. You get what you pay for with this company: Chinesium build, with no title. The non-dealership's dealership representative also told me I can register this trailer at AAA, which you 100% cannot. How do I know? Because I have AAA and I tried that BEFORE the DMV. I then got mansplained by their rep how to register a trailer without a title. I know how to register the trailer, that is why i'm pissed. I had to take two days off from work for this DMV bullshit to bring the trailer in, in-person. I'll also add, that it does not say ANYWHERE on the website that this trailer does not come with a title, or that you are buying a "kit." I've never bought a trailer from a dealership that did not have a title before. This should be stated somewhere ahead of time. read more

The trailer has enough room for 3 dirt bikes and fuel can which I installed Risk racing's can holders and fuel cans. Be ready for a shakedown. Messaged the company in their chat before making the 45 minute drive in my RV to verify they had the stand up dolly with no brakes in stock. They said yes. Visited the shop, Gerardo was there, gave me an out the door price for a powder coated, no brake, stand up dolly with casters. Told him I'd take it. Suddenly, it was out of stock, and I could only buy the galvanized version for $200 more. Asked about the returned one in the shop, he said that would be cheaper. After a quick text, surprise... it's not available either. The more expensive one was my only option. I told him I verified it was in stock before coming, he said they've now updated the site as out of stock. Visited the site, it doesn't state out of stock. He told me to try checking out, still didn't say out of stock. Couldn't give me the galvanized version for the powder coated price, even though it's their error for stating it was available. Unfortunate, because I was ready to pay cash and leave with it today. Also stated it would be 2 months to get the powder coat in stock, then said they'd never have it. read more
