Bad idea. I just got off the Hugh Tunnel on my way to Jersey for work, heading toward the Lincoln, when I suddenly heard the weirdest noises. Next thing I know, my tire completely busted. Of course, being in the city makes everything harder. Finding a tire shop out here is nothing like Brooklyn, where there are ten shops within five miles. I looked up a place, drove all the way there, only to find out they were closed. At that point, I crossed my fingers and hoped Carlos Tires would still be open and thank God they were. They were quick, professional, and had me back on the road in no time. Truly a lifesaver. If you ever need tire help while you're in the city, I definitely recommend them

Literally 5 hours later I discovered that my car was done on my own because I saw it out back - no one told me anything. It was hardly anyone of them than myself in the waiting room all this time and I heard loud shouting and arguing going on in the repair bays so I have no idea about the mechanics or their mindset. Frankly I have zero trust it was done correctly or that the tires were ever even balanced the way that they were supposed to be. I'm going on a very long drive up to New Hampshire and back this week and when I called their complaint line was told that someone would get back to me in 48 hours - but I need to have this actually addressed so I can have the tires that another location removed and balanced and put on properly by Monday morning. No promises are being made to me that this will be done in time or how that leaves me if I am driving long distances on tires not properly installed or that they will take any responsibility for shortened tire lifespan. I'm extremely dissatisfied.
