However, the staff were incredibly rude--one employee mocked my tone, and when my wife called to ask for the written policy, she was talked over, belittled, and dismissed. The technician kept repeating, "we won't fix your car for free," even though we were willing to pay if they identified the issue. I've chosen to drive an hour farther to a different Honda dealership where the staff were respectful and helpful over the phone. I could have accepted the fee, but the way my wife was treated was inexcusable.
