When I picked them up, all four wheels had been scuffed and scratched because their "technicians" were careless with their tools. Calling them technicians is being way too generous and probably an insult to real ones. If you like the look of scratches and gouges on your wheels which leads to oxidation and eventually more problems down the road like air leaks at the bead and structural weakness around the lug nuts, then this is the tire shop for you.

As I realized it was closer to me, it was an easy decision to come here. And Akins service center was kind enough to make an appointment for me. It's right by the Home Depot and easy to find even though all the signage isn't up yet since they just opened last Thursday. I was warmly greeted as I walked in. Everyone was super friendly. From start to finish it took just over thirty minutes to rotate the tires and change the oil. The facility is all new and beautiful. There is plenty of customer seating and even a great work station. They were so fast I didn't even have time to use it. There is a complimentary beverage center with coffee and sodas. I loved that the wall between the waiting area (which is very large) is all glass and you can see the work being done on your vehicle. I think Akins has a huge winner here. I will definitely be getting all of the oil changes done on my son's truck here. I'm a happy customer.

Well, going this far I definitely had to purchase a new tire on the Friday before New Year's Eve. Well after going to 4 different locations to purchase a tire, I made it to Millers OK Tire. After going in and letting them know my situation, and asking how long it would be, I was told 30-45 minutes with what looked to be at least 5-7 orders ahead of mine. Well, my 30-45 minutes seemed more like 15-30 minutes. Before I knew it, I was back on the road and extremely pleased with the friendly service and staff. I would highly recommend this business.

Went next door and got it done for $100. More recently, my car wouldn't start and was thought to be starter related. They charged nearly $150 for diagnostic and then another $80 for parts and labor. And it wasn't the problem. I then figured out the issue (a shift lever position issue)and called them to let them know and ask about a refund for the diagnostic beings they got it completely wrong. I was told that I didn't leave the far long enough for a full diagnostic and there was nothing they can do. So if you need a tire fixed and want to deal with nice people. This is your place. I had a broken exhaust hanger when working on my own car, but I didn't have welding equipment. Needed the car for a weekend trip to Biloxi. A coworker suggested this place, next to the well-known United Deli. There wasn't much of a parking lot, just a bunch of cars. Just found a spot and parked. When I went into front office, there wasn't anyone in the counter, but a guy came in from outside that I saw earlier to see what I needed done. He just went up to me and got straight up to the issue I had. Our conversation wasn't done behind a desk or service counter, but we were both standing in the middle of the room conversing like friends already. This was the same with the mechanic/welder, very knowledgeable and quick. These guys are straight-shooters with no BS, which I appreciated very much. Compared to even the better shops in Seattle, I was very impressed that I received very warm and personable service. The customers were fun to talk to. Despite it looking busy, and most of their stalls full when I arrived, they were able to get me in and out in less than 20 minutes. The shop does other services, but I have no direct dealing with those. When I moved to this state, I was mocked lightly as Washington was leaps and bounds better. Although miss the scenery and environment of the NW, the people and personality in Mississippi make up for it, and this shop has exemplified this example.
