She was not able to connect me with Tonya immediately and took a message, but I had a call back within a few minutes. I knew I was giving late notice, but Tonya was able to get me in before the end of the month. They started on time and were able to shift gears as the office was a bit worse for wear. She came out with a carpet cleaner and we were able to go from a basic clean to a deep clean with carpet cleaning at a very reasonable price. As I was preparing to move into my new home in February 2021, I decided that cleaning the home was not something I wanted to deal with during the move-in process. After doing research and reading through reviews, I decided to go with this company. They are definitely more expensive than other cleaning companies in the area but I figured it was due to them being thorough. On the day of the cleaning, I allowed 3 of their staff, including one of the co-owners, into my home to clean the vacant house. I had other tasks to handle so I left them in the home and came back an hour later. Upon my return, Mr. Chappell started walking me through the home (in a rushing manner), directing me to give the okay for each room. I informed him that I saw dust in several places as well as the floors not completely vacuumed. After he walked away from me, I had time to review the cleaning more thoroughly to discover that there were several areas their team had missed. When I informed him of the continuous issues I kept discovering, he told me that I cannot go back and say something needs to be corrected after I've already given the okay. I politely informed him that he was not going to tell me what I couldn't do in my home and that I would not have had to request better cleaning if his team had done it properly in the first place. Words were exchanged and his team corrected the problems but by this time I was frustrated and ready for them to leave my home. He subsequently called me and I thought it was to apologize for his tone and the inadequate cleaning services they had offered. BUT NOPE. He called me to tell me that he wanted to up-charge me $50 for cleaning my EMPTY refrigerator since it wasn't on my already $500 cleaning bill. At this point, I requested to speak with his wife, the other co-owner, who I had previous correspondence with. I explained the issue to her and she agreed to waive the refrigerator cleaning fee and give $40 off. I was exhausted by the whole situation and ready to just be done. To add insult to injury, I had an exterminator come in the same day and I told him about the cleaning service. He looked around and said the home didn't look thoroughly cleaned and it didn't even smell like any cleaning products. I would have left the situation alone if I didn't have to bring a friend in subsequently to help me actually wipe the inside and outside of my cabinets, thoroughly clean the bathrooms him and his team were suppose to clean, and numerous other cleaning tasks that should've been covered by their services. After speaking to several people about the situation, everyone told me it was important that I wrote this review because I would have done things differently myself had I known this level of service would be provided. Talk about a making a moving process more stressful and $450+ wasted. My hope isn't to scare people from using this service but for them to understand the impact they had on my moving process. I ended up pushing my move-in date back a week because I had to find time to actually clean up behind them.

I sent Laura images and agenda items ahead of the visits and she came prepared for the most productive use of our time. I couldn't believe how much we were able to cover in 2 hours- paint colors, wallpaper, fabric, carpet samples, built in design, material suggestions, hardware suggestions, the works! While the cost per hour may seem high for new home owners, the cost savings of her suggestions and vendors she recommends ended up paying for the consultations and then some. I'm sure that value goes even further with access to her trade discounts for full service design. Even without leveraging Laura to order on your behalf, she brings expertise on local vendors and online stores where you can find items you wouldn't otherwise know about. We ended up saving money with our contractor by leaning on suggestions Laura gave us, her notes and drawings are thorough with actionable plans. It was incredibly difficult to find a designer who would do hourly consultations and I'm so glad we found Laura- she has impecable taste, she's efficient and focused, and gave me the confidence to execute decisions on my own in the absense of being able to hire a full time designer. Well, I'm alive and well, and I'm happier than ever! Over the last week, Chauntese, the owner of this company, and I have been texting about my planned project for the house (getting stuff mounted in my living room). We discussed the expected costs, the space, recommendations for what I would need, and I regularly sent her things to verify that I would be able to use them. Due to varying delivery dates, I had to even push back the day I originally planned to have this done, and it was fine! When the day finally came, she was wonderful. Her assistant, Joshua, was just as cool as she was. The project took about 3.5 hours, but trust me, this was not a "I wish she would hurry up so this can be over with" type of deal! There was conversation, there were laughs, there was education! I learned about her background, what got her into doing this kind of thing, and what her future plans are. I learned how to use my mount and I even got some advice on how to continue to improve the space as I continue to settle in. It wasn't just casual advice -- it was really helpful. If we weren't having fun and talking, the project would've been done much quicker, but I am glad things turned out the way they did.
