Fantastic well organised historic tour. Prompt with starting on time and making sure the group…read morestays together. I opted for the 10:30 am tour and it was great. I wish I had completed the tour earlier in my trip because that would have given me time to revisit some of the spots. In addition, other areas of interest were pointed out during the tour. I like the tour is free because I can just show up during a time that works for me rather than make a reservation and need to change / cancel it later. If you're in the city as a tourist, plans may change without notice, so having flexibiluty is really nice. Well done !

He covered over 1000 years of history over the two hour walk. We started at Trafalgar Square, through Royal London (seeing the beginning and up close changing of the guard) then to St. James Park, on to Downing Street, Big Ben and so many other great historical locations. There is no cost for the tour, and the guides work solely on tips, but there was no pressure at all to do so. We tipped 20 pounds and it was worth every penny. You can tell Andrew loves what he does, and likes meeting new people. It was so good we went back for the 6:30 pm London's Ghostly Haunts Walk, but were 7 minutes late and missed it. TIP: Get there on time!

Best tour EVER. If…read moreyou are into music- into London, into Camden, into rock and roll at it's finest DO THIS TOUR!!!! I would safely say it is wheelchair accessible as well. Allison is very knowledgeable and friendly. You will get to go by every venue where almost every band ever started or played. This is in my "must do" list for those who've never been to London before. Yes, along with the Tower of London and a Jack the Ripper Tour. It's that good. It suited my interests more than the museums.

However, after a brief search on Google I was dismayed at the price of these tours - approximately £40. As we were staying close to Camden (for the music of course!) I tried another search and soon found the Rock n Roll Camden Walking Tour. I couldn't believe it was only £10! We met Alison outside the Electric Ballroom which is very easy to find. Alison is warm and vivacious with a vast knowledge of Camden and its music scene. We were brought to many pubs and venues and Alison had something fascinating to say about each one. If you're not a fan of walking not to worry, Camden isn't that big and there are plenty of stops! My sister's into punk and ska and I'm an indie rock girl but both our tastes were accommodated as bands and musicians from all genres have lived and played in Camden. The tour is a great insight into the music history of Camden and I'd recommend it to anyone with an interest in alternative music. A really fun hour and a half!

Having made London my home a couple of decades ago, I also still like to delve into tourist…read moreterritory every now and again. Walks are the best way to get to know a place, and this is one of the best organised tours I have been on. I was a bit worried at first that Street Art London might be a big, almost corporate outfit with an aim to profit from the growing (and increasingly mainstream) interest in street art - what with the highly professional website and efficient paypal payment option. Very happy to find out that instead this is a project based on a man's personal interest in pictures on walls and those who create them. Griff is very knowledgeable and happy to share his wisdom, even recommending further sites too far to reach on the day. Street Art tours are available twice a week on Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings. I spontaneously booked a one-off this May Bank Holiday just gone. The group met at 11 o'clock near Old Street station with the tour then winding through streets and back alleys until it was time to take a little break at lunchtime, giving everyone a chance to refuel and get to know each other. I think we were on the road well over the promised four hours! And it didn't stop there; Griff takes the time to contact everyone personally after the tour with links to interviews he has conducted, locations and whatever else might have come up. One of the best days out to be had in London at the moment!

I'd highly recommend as a unique way to see London, and it's the kind of thing you can probably do multiple times as things change so much over just a few months.
