We got to see the changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace, the Crown Jewels, Westminster Abbey, just to name a few. The trip details were communicated very clearly from the beginning. I did the Art & Architecture Tour and the Shopping Tour with Charley. The A&A tour was great. She pointed out so many historical places with lots of detail and knowledge. I enjoyed the way she asked us our opinions and thoughts on the buildings or the paintings. She drew our attention to so many neat details and had great background on everything. I also did the Shopping Tour with her and it was literally TAILORED to what i was shopping for and what stores I wanted to go to. We spent the whole day shopping in stores and explaining different markets. She even pivoted mid-day when I had a thought to look for more of something. She also shared a lot of fun details about the stores themselves. I highly recommend using them when in London and the other markets they serve! I contacted Charley to let her know that we were going to be back in London for a few days and gave her a rough idea of the things we wanted to do this time around (we have previously toured with the company). She and Beatrice put together multiple options (that aren't on the website because they do TAILOR the tours!) for us to choose from and we decided to take a tour of the Victoria and Albert Museum with Katie. We learned during the tour that Katie worked at the museum previously and truly is an expert!! Katie spent 3 hours showing us the highlights in the museum including Da Vinci's diary and a writing box presumably belonging to King Henry XIII. Truly a person could spend endless hours in this museum!! Katie gave us a wealth of information that was beyond what was on the plaques and she was friendly and patient with us!! We did a private tour with Catherine with a focus on the Tower of London, the Mithraeum located beneath the Bloomberg building, the HMS Belfast, and the Golden Hinde. First we want to thanks the London Tailoring Tours team as the experience from booking to the final tour day were amazing. We got into LHR and met our driver Neil. He is a very knowledgeable about the city, respectful, and always on time. He was like another guide for us and we spent 4 days with him. We did the Best of London and Borough Market with the fabulous Jasmin. We always look to know more about the history of the cities we traveled and she explained everything we asked and more. In the other side my husband was not too interested into the Borough Market and thanks to Jasmin he left loving the place and the food. For the British Museum our tour guide was Anthony. As you all know the museum is huge so Anthony first asked us about our interest. The way he guided the tour was so good that we did not felt tired. We saw all the master pieces and went thru the different eras with great explanation of the history of British.
