She makes you feel comfortable to open up and speak your mind so that she could help you perfect your wedding day look. That is what the Trial is for! I had sent Heather sample pictures of hair styles and make-up that I liked, and I could tell she did her homework because she pointed out details that I had not even noticed! She created a look that was similar but was able to tailor it to perfectly compliment my likes, hair length and facial features. I have extremely long hair but the models in my sample pictures were shorter length, so she worked something to hide some of the hair so that my low-bun was not enormous! Also, since I have a round face, she knew how to accentuate other features so that the roundness of my face was less noticeable. Then, I had gotten an airbrush tan after our trial, but before my wedding day, yet she was able to correctly match my skin color with no problem on the day of the wedding. I also wanted a different color lipstick, and although she did not have the exact match (it would be pretty hard unless I had the actual lipstick) she was able to mix some things together to get the look I was going for. These are only a few of the examples of why I think she is truly skilled and knowledgeable at what she does! My wedding makeup and hair was absolutely amazing!! She even leaves you with a touch-up kit and little hints like drink from straws. I could not thank her enough for her patience and being a great listener and giving me suggestions as I tried to make up my mind on what I liked and at times, would change my mind back to the initial choice! My experience was terrific! First, I had to reschedule my appointment, which was not an issue. Upon arrival, Pinkal was nice and polite when greeting me-I felt very comfortable. I asked for my lip, chin and the blonde peach fuzz to be removed from my face. Let me tell you, I have sensitive skin and this was the FIRST time I've ever left a threading salon without any redness, rashes or signs of being threaded! Pinkal was so gentle throughout the entire process, and she made sure to ask me if anything hurt! (She also made sure to close the blinds when she realized the sun was gleaming in on my face, which showed how considerate she is of her clients.) Moral of the story, I will def take the drive from Cherry Hill, NJ to Pinkals for all my future threading appointments!

This is such a great place!! My sister and I both come here around once a month to get our brows…read moreand upper lips threaded. There are several things the ladies here do very well: 1. Communication-- you can tell them how you like your brows to looks or any preferences, thicker/thinner, arched/straight, etc. Also you can ask them for advice or to take short breaks during the threading session, or to re-adjust an area once you look in the mirror if you'd prefer your eyebrows thinner, for example. 2. In my experience, threading gives your eyebrows a much cleaner line than plucking at home did for me since the hairs are being pulled out along the line that the string travels in. 3. The pain gets a lot more manageable with each visit. My eyes water every time I go but I have sensitive skin. The first time I went, it hurt, but the ladies are really really good about communicating with you, you can ask them to pause for short breaks if you have low pain tolerance. My second time it hurt much less, upper lip threading was very noticeably less painful. 4. Also I wanted to mention that getting threaded here has never made my skin break out, which is great. 5. It's so convenient to stop by the Montgomery Mall and visit this threading salon. The wait is never very long, it varies from zero line to a ten minute wait being my longest. I highly recommend supporting this local business. If you are curious about threading, I would recommend that you give it a try because waxing can be very harsh to your eye area/takes out too much hair, plucking very slow and harder to get that clean look, and bleaching stray hairs not suitable for all skin tones. I used to pluck my eyebrows and wax my upper lip, but its just faster and more convenient for me to get it done here. I used to be scared that i wouldnt be in control of my eyebrow shape if i went to a salon to have them done, but the ladies here are very experienced with all types of face and eyebrow shapes, and they listened to me when i told them my personal preferences. Also they have a punch card where if you get a certain amount of threading done you can get your next eyebrow threading free. First, she drew on where my brows should be naturally and followed those lines when waxing. Afterwards, she told me how to properly fill them in and where I needed to let grow in a little bit more. Yes, it may seem pricey at $20 for a wax, but you're also getting a tutorial into how to properly do your brows, which is really priceless :) I don't know what kind of wax they use, but it was absolutely painless. Furthermore, I would always break out after a wax due to my sensitive skin, but a week later I still don't have any issues. Overall, an awesome experience and I will definitely be back!

The technician did a sloppy job with the brow tint so that I looked like a creature. She could not remove the poorly applied color, so proceeded to "cover it" up with foundation that did not even match my skin tone. I go to ULTA to look prettier than when I come in, and had a special occasion that evening. Waiting until the next day to see if it all came off was not the correct approach, which was suggested. Thank goodness, the onsite make-up technician was able to fix my brows and remove the over-applied/thick color. I expected much more from Benefit. When I complained, I was not offered a refund, and no manager reached out to me. However, I was grateful that a different person was able to patch up the botched job.
