He's very in tune with his body and knows it best. We started calling emergency dentists about 6 am. Husband just pretty much walked into this place and they took him right away. Our son has had a tooth abscess before and it moved to under his eye, which could be deadly if the drainage went to his brain. Husband was rightfully paranoid and just wanted to know if it needed to be taken care of ASAP or would he be okay until he gets back to DFW. Long story short. Dr Huynh gave him pain meds and antibiotics. Told him he needed the tooth out soon or retreat of root canal, but nothing immediate. I appreciate the office getting him in quick and Dr reassuring him.

Although I can technically see my children (who are 3 and 4 years old at this time) for their dental needs, I have always preferred to have pediatric dentists to see my children for their dental needs as I know there are certain aspects of patient care which are different for adult patients vs pediatric patients (also my kids tend to listen better to other adults than me). From the scheduling of initial appointment to every aspect of our visits including recall reminders, I am truly impressed with Dr. Yang and her team's approach to providing the best care possible. Office is exceptionally well kept including a very cute lobby area to the super fun patient care areas and the well trained team provides exceptional services with friendliness. Dr. Yang's treatment recommendations were solid recommendations with conservative approach in mind and I am so happy to have found Dr. Yang's office for my children. If you are looking for a pediatric office for your children's needs, I would not hesitate to check out Evergreen Pediatric Dentistry and Dr. Yang. They are truly awesome and my kids are actually excited when they find out that they are going to see Dr. Yang! When my daughter first went here she was not scared of dentists visits. Through the years every time we would go the dr would find something and give us a treatment plan that insurance would not fully cover. My daughter would always have cavaties and over time she got very afraid to go to the dentist. So then we would have to pay to have her be given laughing gas. The last time we went the dr said she again had cavaties, this time 3 or 4. My husband made a comment to me about how he didn't believe our daughter had cavaties and it just seems like they are trying to shake us down. So while on vacation we took our daughter to a dentist and guess what....they told us she didn't have any cavaties. So when we came back home I found another dentist and surprise they also said she didn't have any cavaties! Reading the other reviews it sounds like a common scam they are running telling parents their kids need all this work when they really don't. Pushing parents to put kids under to charge extra money. After spending a lot of money there feel scammed and would like a refund. Now my kid has silver teeth that she probably didn't need. Do not go to this dentist office if you love your children. All they did was traumatize my kid! And reading all the other similar reviews they are doing unnecessary work to over charge parents.

I decided to drive the 30+ minutes back to this office, and I've never looked back. Dr. Harpavat is incredibly knowledgeable, honest, and conservative in her approach. I certainly don't remember feeling that way as a child, and I think that says a lot about the caring and welcoming environment she has created. I also can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Lankford, who has been my dentist. Years ago, I suffered an injury that fractured my front tooth and damaged several lower teeth. Eventually, the root of the crowned front tooth became infected and could not be saved. Dr. Lankford guided me through every step of the process, referred me to an outstanding oral surgeon for my implant, and later restored it with a beautiful, high-quality crown. Throughout the entire experience, he was compassionate, supportive, and always available to answer my questions. The final result looks and feels amazing, and I couldn't be happier. His skill, honesty, and attention to detail are exceptional. Both Dr. Harpavat and Dr. Lankford are dentists I trust completely. I recently had a crown pop off and went to another dentist out of travel convenience and it was a nightmare that Dr. Lankford had to fix. The other doctor was going to place a crown over an old filling and decays, but luckily their permanent crown broke upon seating and I was able to see Dr. Lankford for a second opinion. The nitrous was 1/3 of the cost of the other office I went to and my crown was extremely reasonably priced. I was comfortable the entire time and my coworker I referred here also relayed to me she's never felt so comfortable and at ease at a dentist. The dentist I've been going to was going to retire, and it was right around the time and through a mutual acquaintance at our workplace (we each other met at work), heard of Dr. Zhen Yang's practice on the side of Sam Houston Tollway West, northbound past Bellaire Blvd. Back then, Dr. Yang was the only full time doctor (that we remember seeing), and his wife Dr. Tang, who is also a dentist, was only there some of the time. Immediately I can already notice that Dr. Yang's clinic is taking a more modernized approach in their environment and decoration. The waiting room is pretty spacious and has a TV there for patients to watch while they wait. Whenever I go to doctor's offices, even though I know most of the time I am there for my annual cleaning, feels nice to watch something relaxing and educational at the same time one TV, and Dr. Yang often (not all the time) had nature films playing, which I something I enjoy watching while I wait. When we first started seeing Dr. Yang, we immediately took notice that while he has patients wait in the chairs, there were some movies available to watch on the swiveling monitors he had around the chairs and these were movies that were available on their local network. Perhaps they had just started their practice, we had to do quite a bit of sitting and wait time, and the movies helped. I still remembered it being quite funny that both my wife and I, despite being in different rooms, both chose to watch the movie "The Island (Ewon McGregor and Scarlett Johanssen)" while we waited and both couldn't get through the movie before our services had to start. P. S. We ended up buying the DVD because we both loved the movie so much. The clinic also eventually moved onto showing Netflix to the patients on these monitors* Dr. Yang and Dr. Tang both look to still be in their prime. Both are professional, friendly, attentive and thorough in their examinations. We felt comfortable coming to their clinic after a few visits. Although we were there mostly for our twice a year cleaning and checkups, and before they hired more oral hygienists, Dr. Tang would also chip in to help with the deep cleaning, which she did for my wife a few times, we also stopped in for other reasons. My wife removing a wisdom tooth, I had to get some fillings done on my teeth, which amazingly, after getting them done back in 2010, they are still on and did not once fell off and needed to be redone, and getting nightguards made because I grind my teeth during my sleep (again, well made quality night guards that even after 5 years, even though I put some dents in it, still managed to hold up). That co-worker that had told us to come to check out the clinic moved on to other dental practices after a few visits. But we decided to stay with Dr. Yang's practice because of his craft and dedication to his work. The clinic now has more Doctors and hygienists on board and Dr. Tang has retreated to be more supporting administrative role for the clinic. Dr. Yang really only work during the week days while the other Doctors work the weekends. The clinic can be extremely busy and hard to book. So if you are booking appointments for deep cleaning, you have to book approximately 3 months of your preferred month/date. That's right, can't book too early and not too late. The clinic accepts most dental insurance and accepts cash, and credit cards as form of payment. Give Dr. Yang's clinic a try, you might starting to look forward to your dental visits.
