The staff were very helpful and even had samples of tea for us to taste. I love tea and although I tend to drink black tea in the mornings, I bought their Milky Oolong ($15) as it is calming and good for digestion. I have been having a cup of it after dinner and it is perfect! It is an oolong tea, but creamier and light in taste. I looked at the steeped tea and noticed most of it was whole leaves that were rolled up. The tea itself was of a high quality and the side of the box says leaves are hand picked. Snob moment: I'm not a huge fan of mass-marketed teas (companies like Davids Tea and Teavana). Generally speaking, these companies focus more on smell than actual taste profile with their teas and they lack transparency in their tea-sourcing methods. MCOP offers freshness, an impeccable product AND they oversee the direct sourcing of their teas. All this considered, they're also very reasonably priced. I've benefitted from many a good sale here as well (their mothers day deal is usually especially on point). If ever you have questions about the sourcing of their teas or the health benefits of a product, the staff is always super informative. The milky oolong is my all-time-fave from MCOT, although it's not always available.

Anchored in the communities of the Jean-Talon and Atwater markets, the Mangue et melon juice bars have been preparing tasty juices for 15 years. We got the smoothies, but they also have fresh juices... They are unpasteurized, without added water or sugar (except for their lemonade). All of their juices are made with fruits and vegetables from local producers and merchants in the Montreal region. They deliver in the area as well.

The lady working behind the counter was also very professional and very sweet. I love this regional chain of boulangeries....one of my favorites in the area.
