Then I met Dr. Tim Boyne. I have never seen any person like that. He just radiates peace. Also he patiently tried to explain everything in a simple way for me to understand the situation. When i arrived to the destination ( 43 mins from my home ) I was told I needed to return the device the next day at 6-9 am. I said i had to drop my 4 kids at school at 840 so i would be 20 mins late . The technician said no, so i had to get someone else to drop it off for me the next day ( rules are rules so i didnt push). The same technician was rude and codescending ( this is NOT her first negative review .. red hair 30-40s ). She would not make eye contact. She pointed at what she wanted me to do instead of asking. Finally I called her out on being rude when she demanded i take off my shirt instead of asking me nicely or offering me a blanket to feel less exposed OR even saying " i am going to apply leads so you need to take you shirt off for a minute". I asked for a new technician as she was making me so uncomfortable ( as if i wanted to spend my morning getting a heart monitor with a cup of joy at the bed side ). The next technician, Pat, was lovely. Showed me how to use device. She was patient with my questions and the whole event only took 3 mins. I personally have not dealt with the cardiologists in building but my husband has and they are lovely. Too bad they hired someone that brings down their image .

And there is a gent in the cast clinic- lovely- can't remember his name but he's good for a joke or two. And all the nurses I have had the pleasure of talking to- all so kind!!! However, I did a presentation in November, 2010 when Dr. Swain was appointed the Cal Wenzel Family Foundation Chair in Hepatology, and I really learned how incredible this man`s credentials are. My experience of him as a doctor, is someone who listens, asks questions, is compassionate, knowledgable and is always honest. Over the years, as alternative health options have been cropping up, I have asked him all kinds of questions regarding my treatment, and he has handled my requests with patience and honesty. Further, in the rare occassion where I have had trouble, he has been accessible. He truly does care about the work that he does, and his patients. He always makes time.
