I was looking for a specific bottle and found it at Total Wine. Their website reflects it is currently available in store. I went to the store to be told it is out of stock. I complained asking why does their website reflect inventory and was told the last bottle was just recently sold so the system did not have time to update. Whenever I'm in the area and need very specific wines or liquors, Total Wine is an immediate go-to. Their variety and options can definitely be a bit overwhelming at first, but when you need something particular, it's a great resource. One thing I do wish they had more of is South African wine options--I'm a major fan of South African varieties because it's just so darn good. Beyond that the staff is always very friendly and helpful, and you're definitely not spending an arm and a leg if you even buy just 3 bottles for example. Whether it's a bottle or two just for us, or dozens of bottles for a party, they crush it. I'm very picky about who deserves 5 stars and they do. They always have what we want. The app is easy. I was needed to get in and out quickly as I was on my way to work...I went to the cashier with a light on. She was bagging for the next cashier. She seem to take her time and it was inconsiderate especially since she had her light on. This is not good customer service. I did nit get her name, buy I was there on Wednesday, April 10th and my receipt reads 8:58. I shopped at Total Wine a number of times when I lived in South Carolina, but not too frequently because I just had a feeling it was overpriced. I stopped in after I moved to Florida and I was proved wrong about my impression of being overpriced. Prices were generally good, and I signed up for their rewards program which should have some benefit as well. They have a wide selection of wine, beer, liquor and cigars. What else can you ask for?? I picked up some neat looking local craft beer, but didn't see my holiday favorite, Shiner Holiday Cheer beer. I asked an employee who was very helpful. He pulled it up on his mobile phone and sure enough they had it! He kindly led me directly to it and I snagged 4 six packs, because I believe its usually difficult to find. Like a beacon calling me hone, I saw the Total Wine sign as I made my way to lunch and had to pull in. It's in a lushly landscaped mall and next to a French bakery I have to try next time. The store is big, like the one closer to home-and had all the options I'm used to-plus a few new concoctions (cherry margaritas? Let the experimentation begin!) The prices have ranged from nothing to the most recent delivery fee of $5.99+a "tip" of $27.45 for a total of $33.44. Total wine determined and applied the tip and fee to my cc. My orders are not insignificant and always by the full case. Of course, not being aware of the $33.44 I then tipped the driver in cash as is my custom. Beware of the delivery costs. read more

I have been going to this store for many years, and received a coupon for 10 % off for sprits 9/5/23. I went to restock 5 bottles of our favorites, at the checkout the clerk looked at my coupon and the 5 bottles I had selected and rang them in for a total of $200.00 plus. Then she informed me that the discount was not for national brands. Of course she knew this before she rank the total up, and in an apologetic tone said she understood the very fine print was hard to read. I am a 70 years old and no way could I read that only an invoice number ending in 7 was eligible for the discount. I suggested the bold print should say no National brands would receive the discount. Of course that misleading add is the whole purpose of the mailer to their customer base. I declined to complete the sale and made a point to say this is not about the money but the insulting way to try and mislead loyal customers. We recently decided to bulk up on our wine and prep for the summer--hoping it will be a good one. There is no better place to go for wine other than Total Wine and More. They consistently have the best selection, in every area and type of wine, and also the more dedicated customer service. Not only this, but they deliver and this is a bonus in the day of COVID. Prior to the lock downs, it was easy to secure tastings and such, so my hope is that will come back soon. The physical location is also a pleasure to shop, it is clean and easy to locate what you need. The salespeople are so helpful and friendly as well. The name Total Wine is slightly misleading as they​ are the "Total Liquor Store". No matter what you are looking for, Total Wine has it AND with numerous options. From wine to craft beer to hard liquors and much much more, Total Wine has it all. On top of this, they carry glasses, party needs, cigars and more. While I have been to a few wine stores that carry a larger selection of very high end, expensive wines, that isn't what the typical shopper is looking for (although they do carry a decent selection of these also). The overall feeling is friendly and the staff I have dealt with has been enormously helpful and knowledgeable. I can't stress enough what a great selection of offerings they carry. Their craft brew section is basically unmatched. Multiple styles, multiple countries and multiple price points. You truly can't go wrong here. As has been mentioned by other reviewers, they regularly offer a number of free tastings which have helped steer me in the direction of just what I was looking for on several occasions. Just prior to New Year's, they were offering about 10 different champagnes to try which definitely helped me in my search for just the right style. It's important that I mention that their pricing is highly competitive. I have found that they compare favorably with any of the other local stores. While you certainly can find slightly better pricing on the internet, when you consider the convenience and easy access they offer, you will likely not find a better overall value. Total Wine has a really good selection. There's white a few package stores to choose from but what I like best about Total Wine is there's room to shop. There's room to grab a carriage and explore the aisles of wine so you can look for some old favorites and explore for some new choices. We went to Total Wine & More yesterday, 09/30/21 to purchases some beverages and it turns out they are still a mess! Purchasing $150 worth of alcohol, as normal I had to remind them the 4 cases of beer were on sale and was rung up wrong, so it was corrected. I was asked for my rewards number to assure I received my points. I used a gift card I received and paid the balance with my charge card. Now the fun starts, the clerk mistakenly hit the cash button instead of charging it. She tried to fix it with no luck. A manager, Dan, was called over. We went to another register, but had to come back to the original register. It was obvious Dan was getting a little upset because it wasn't going well. He finally figured it out that he should nullify the receipt and start over. I reminded him about the beer pricing and he said he got it. What went wrong? My rewards number was never reentered and the price of the beer was wrong, again. It was only .50 a case, but $2 is $2, plus tax. I did see the mistake as we were walking out, but figured it would take another 30 minutes to get it correct. Larry B read more
