I came in as someone who has lost 130 pounds and has been consistently maintaining a structured routine: approximately 1700 calories per day, around 170g of protein, weightlifting 3-4 times per week, and daily walking. This approach has clearly been effective and sustainable for me. During my consultation, I was told that based on my resting metabolic rate (~1600), I should be eating around 1100 calories per day. When I explained my current intake and results, I was met with visible shock and told, "that's why people don't lose weight." I found this response not only dismissive, but concerning. Recommending an intake significantly below resting metabolic rate especially to someone of my height (5'11") and activity level raises serious concerns about sustainability and overall health. After the appointment, I followed up with my physician, as well as a certified nutrition professional I've previously worked with, both of whom confirmed that this recommendation was not appropriate. I understand that different providers may have different approaches, but presenting extremely low caloric intake as a standard solution, and doing so with a high level of confidence when challenged, is something I feel potential clients should be aware of. Given my experience, I will not be returning. I hope this feedback encourages a more individualized and evidence-based approach for future clients.

The other IV clinic said what I felt was likely a result of a fast drip and yeah that is definitely what I saw and felt. I think she did 1000ml in 20-30 minutes which was too fast. The second is you're sitting next to other people and there are not private rooms. Maybe not a huge deal but there are better places. I probably wouldn't come back here. It wasn't terrible but I would definitely ask them to slow the drip if you do. I think it should take an hour or more for 1L.

The place was extremely clean and decorated beautifully. The staff is extremely accommodating, friendly, and very professional. It was my first time, and they ensured I was very informed and prepared by providing a detailed explanation of the procedure and answering all my questions. As I was being taken back to the IV room, the NP could tell I was a little nervous and asked if there was anything she could do to calm my nerves. I couldn't think of anything at the time, so she put on some relaxing music to help. As I was taken back to the IV room seeing the massaging and reclining chairs helped ease my nerves a little. I told the NP I was scared of needles due to past bad experiences. As she was preparing the IV bag and needle she started to ask about my grandbaby whom I had just finished talking to. While conversating with her about my grandbaby and life, I didn't even realize she had already stuck the needle into my arm until she said I'm all done. That was amazing, she was the first person who was able to get the needle in the first time and without me feeling any pain. Upon completion of my therapy, I was offered a variety of beverages and snacks. In my opinion, this is definitely going above and beyond to ensure your customer is taken care of.
