Best eye doctor I have been too in a long time, so happy they are so close to home too. David was very knowledgeable and professional, the Doctor was funny, made me feel comfortable, and did a great job. They had alot of awesome frames to choose from, and were super helpful when picking out frames and options for frames. Got awesome glasses for me and my wife for a great price, I will be back yearly for a new pair, thank you to all of the staff for being so kind and accommodating. A+ read more

Wow, what a nightmare. Total rip off and I still can't see through my $700.00 glasses and three eye exams later and they want more money to put the prescription right. Do not go to this place. Read the small print, there is no refund or return of product. I have been spoken to like a dirt, treat like trash and honestly I am lost for words. One lame comment from an optician that I will never forget, train my brain to see through the lense. Terrible migraine and what feels like motion sickness. Wow! What a great place! My son broke his glasses and needed an exam. We called and got an appointment for the following morning, showed up on time and we in for the beginning of the exam in about 10 minutes. Everyone was really nice and extremely professional. The doctor was so funny during the exam. She wouldn't stop flipping around the lenses until he gave an answer that made sense. It took a while. LOL! We found great frames but it was going to take a while for them to come in because he has a really odd prescription. But we DID have his old broken set. You know they found frames that would fit the lenses he already had and lent us frames so he'd be able to see until his came in? No one, and I mean NO ONE does that! Heck... I was surprised they even tried. I'm really impressed with the place and plan to bring my wife in for her glasses and exam. My sixty-nine-year-old mother was referred here by her primary care doctor to check on her vision issues. I personally called and made the appointment for my mother with this business. Never did they tell me they planned on dilating her eyes. Thus, I allowed my mother to drive herself to her appointment. They came in and dilated her eyes, and she didn't even know they were going to do it until they were doing it. They allowed my mom to leave the office without any protective eyewear. She told me when she walked outside it was like a blinding light. Why she didn't go back in and call me? I have no idea. That's stubborn, I can handle this sixty-nine-year-old woman pushed forward when she shouldn't have, but that's my mom. She couldn't distinguish the depth of field from what little bit of the curb she could see, and she almost fell stepping off the curb into the parking lot. She made her way to the car, and use the pair sunglasses in the car to drive home. Needless to say, I was livid. I called the office and told them what they had done. Make no mistake about it, I never yelled, raise my voice, or use profanity. I was very firm, direct, and to the point. I told them I was driving up there to pick up the proper protective eyewear that my mother should have. When I walked in, it looked more like an eye glassware superstore in a strip mall than a doctor's office. I see the priority here is selling prescription eyewear; which they did offer my mom before she left. The lady behind the counter apologized, and I could tell that my complaint was knocking go any further than her, hence, I'm on Yelp. Considering my sixty-nine-year-old mother was dilated without prior knowledge of the procedure, and almost fell off the curve outside their office door, I expected a bit more than a generic apology. The protective eyewear I got for my mom from this office was so cheap, that it came rolled up in a little film-like canister that you use to see back in grade school. It wasn't even the proper plastic pair of glasses that hooked around the ears. To be quite honest, if this is a type of service they provide their seniors, I can't begin to imagine the quality control behind the actual physical eye exam itself. I question it greatly. Two years ago, in Atlanta, my mom was told she had the early stages of a cataract in her left eye. This office told her she had no signs of a cataract. Yes, the Lord may have performed a miracle, but I am trying to persuade my mom to get a second opinion to confirm said miracle. I will see to it personally that my mother never crosses the threshold of this super eyeglass center/doctor's office again. The doctor is amazing. She was very helpful and informative, but when it came time to order my contacts it was a nightmare. Only one person in the office deals with orders, and when you call she is never available. I ordered my contacts in March, it is now mid August!! And every time I call they say "it should be in this week". Then I have to call them to see if it came in or not, and they never call me back. Absolutely horrible customer service! I will never use them again, which is a shame because the doctor was great. read more

Total Vision is great! I usually get an eye exam once a year and update my glasses. For me it's always a challenge to pick the best new frames. The women who work here were very helpful in picking just the right frames. The took my insurance and I got my new glasses quickly. All round a great experience. read more

I was a patient at DR. Nunez office Total Vision eye health associates located at 15 Cypress Branch Way, Suite 205 Palm Coast FL 32164. Treatment was horrific. I took an eye exam with Dr. Charles Nunez O.D. License # OPC4659 and his attitude was very shy of classy! Basically, his treatment was off base. 3 months later I relocated. I requested a prescription to be written to me and sent by mail. The prescription was both for glasses and contact lenses. I purchased contact lenses with this new prescription elsewhere. They were off base. I couldn't see anything clearly with them. 5 months later I took an eye exam at my new residency. The prescription for my eyes was TOTALLY different. BUYWARE BE WARE. P.S. The sample contacts I left with at Nunez office fit me great and I could see great with them. Obviously, it was done on purpose to teach me a lesson, "IF I DON'T GIVE HIM MY BUSINESS I LOSE!" read more

Worst retail experience of my life. Just as the two other filtered reviewers have said, I too have gone round & round with these people over getting what I purchased. It was going to be 7-10 days. Two months later I was still empty-handed. They've lied to me repeatedly. One week they stood me up four days in a row. After about a month, we agreed on a refund plus the product. The refund supposedly posted on their system multiple times, but never materialized despite my receipts. At one point, the check was in the mail, but it never showed up. Finally, I got a new check in person and a handful of parts that represent what I'd bought. They were working on getting the glasses finished, but the lies continued and eventually became too much, so I decided to cut my losses. I've already drove there many, many times and waited with no word for deliveries that never happen. I could have had them finished more than a dozen times over by any decent shop. Unbelievably unprofessional, rude, and impossible to work with, I can't stress enough just how bad it was. It is one thing to be lied to a few times, but to have them break outright promises over & over for weeks on end is deeply offensive. They are only good at one thing, making excuses. Sickness, wrong deliveries, faulty products, bad workmanship, credit server issues, mail issues, third parties not able to get the work done today, tomorrow, the next day, the day after that, I can certainly vouch for their ability to create endless excuses. Called for appointment was seen the next day by great docs. The staff however is POORLY unorganized. I was given a trial pair of contact lenses, laced my order and told they would arrive in 2 days. It has been 26 days and I have only received EXCUSES!! My insurance has paid and I have YET to receive my lenses! After several phone calls and messages, I was given another pair trial lenses in different Rx - Who Does That? If you need an eye check up - the Docs are great, but if you need correction - Keep Moving FAR away from this place and their incompetent staff! read more

This place does not deserve even 1 star. I have never been treated so disrespectful from any customer service in my life. Professionalism does not even exist at this place. I went in for an exam, the glasses were so over priced so I asked for my prescriptions so I can get better glasses at better prices elsewhere. As I tried to get my prescription filled elsewhere they pointed out several "mistakes" in my prescriptions that I needed to verify. Along with that the Doctor tells me my distance has not changed but when I compare my prescription to 4 years ago, there is a big change. I found out by verifying my prescription today that I have a astigmatism, never was told that by the Doctor. When I mention that to "Katie" in the office the one who answered my call her response was "You don't need to know everything" and "it is not your job to know"..ummm these are my eyes, I think I have the right to know if I have an astigmatism, and that my distance prescription has changed and if I am questioning my prescription I think it should be explained to me with some respect. I had to even tell her I was not stupid and she did not need to talk to me like I was. Katie tells me there is so much science that even she doesn't understand. Well if that is the case maybe that job is not the right position for her. Regardless of her knowledge, she should have more respect with customers who call trying to verify their prescription and I think the Doctor should be more precise and explain to the patients the changes and what they see wrong with their eyes. To me, knowing I have a astigmatism is something I should have been told. I can promise I will never go there again and made sure I contacted my Insurance Co regarding the lack of professionalism at this place. read more
