I initially reached out for a refrigerator water line install and dishwasher water line install as well as a quote on new pipe hangers and shower, toilet, and sink install which I told the receptionist when booking . I asked the receptionist since I did not have kitchen cabinets and sink installed yet if the water line for dishwasher could be done or if I needed to wait and was told it wasn't an issue. Fast forward and plumber came out put in a line for refrigerator and said dishwasher couldn't be installed until sink was installed. I was charged over $300 for work and never received a quote for other work. After calling back twice inquiring , I finally got called back to say I was too far away for big jobs.

I thought we'd have to wait...they came back the very next day and went above and beyond fixing our issues with old plumbing and a leak with our toilet. Just because I can compare...our contractor had a plumber do our work with a new water heater and the amount he charged was astronomical and he charged every time he came back because he not only took his sweet time coming back he charged a service fee which these guys did not. I felt for the amount of time and work these 2 guys put in it was by far a fair price! I HIGHLY recommend. Especially how courteous they were wearing foot covers and just very nice compared to our overly expensive rude plumber our contractor hired for us.

I can't speak to anyone else's experience, as this review is all my personal experience and opinion…read moreonly, as I know not everyone will have the same experience and I also know there are some solid techs at this company (I have personally dealth with them), but unfortunately I had a nightmare experience with mutiple bad apples in my opinion, and it unfortunately resulted in the end of my storied relationship with a plumber that I thought would be the last one I would ever need, but as they say if something seems too good to be true it usually is... I thought I had found a plumber for life, but my personal experience with Option One ended up with me feeling as though they exhibited failed ownership in addressing an issue caused by errors from their techs, lack of accountability with regard to said issue and becoming confrontational and argumentative when the issue was brought to their attention. Long story short, I had a plumbing blockage that resulted in my front yard needing to be dug up and new pipes being installed in the yard. Upon completion of the job, I experienced flooding in my yard and requested Option One to come out and address the issue. They tried to claim it was an irrigation issue not their problem, but after getting another Option One tech and a plumber from another company to come out, it was confirmed (via photos) that the flooding was due to Option One failing to connect the piping correctly. Instead of taking ownership and accountability for the issue, I was met with defensiveness, along with the above stated lack of ownership and accountability. At one point in the process I even had to ask one of the techs to leave my property because he had such a dismissive unprofessional attitude. I could go on and on but I have already wasted so much time on dealing with this issue that it isn't worth any more of my time. At the end of the day, I found another company to correct the failed work done by Option One and this company apologized on behalf of Option One, as this company felt bad that I had to go through such an ordeal, given that the plumbing industry is already viewed in a negative light by many, right up there with mechanics, car salesmen and attorneys by some. You can read my past reviews to see how much I praised this company in the past, which is why I was so disappointed by what in my personal option was a complete lack of accountability and ownership by multiple individuals across the Option One company. After giving this company multiple five star reviews over the years, I cannot recommend them to anyone anymore as the trust they gained over the years was lost in an instant and based on my personal experience, I cannot in good conscience recommend them to anyone moving forward like I have done in the past.

They spent a total of three minutes in my basement and informed me that my entire home needed to be re piped, that I needed a new water heater AND possibly a new well. I cried. Would not recommend if you need a actual plumber to find a leak and repair it!…read moreThis place is a joke. After a hour the guy puts plumber putty on bathtub drain and try's to tell me he fixed the problem without even getting into the backside wall where the drain pipe has been leaking on my concrete slab under the tub. I showed him my baseboards on the opposite side wall of the bathroom , which clearly shows water damage and water marks. And took him outside where the foundation at the bathroom has mildew or water marks on it. Like the water had been draining out the side of the house some how. Then he proceeded to tell me to spray mildew cleaner on it and give it a "month" to see if it was still leaking!! What in the world! I ended up telling him to leave after wasting over a hour of my time. And I could tell how stupid he was from the comments he made. I would NEVER RECOMMEND this COMPANY TO ANYONE!
