So, after working with him for over a year, I think a review update is in order. Everything I said in my original review is still true. I am not going to repeat them here; please see the original review. What has become more and more clearly after interacting with him for over a year is that ZAC TAKES CARE OF MY YARD AS IF IT'S HIS OWN! He does a lot of extra things and he doesn't even charge me for them. Yesterday, I came home and found Zac on all fours on my front yard weeding! For one thing, it was a 80 degree day. Also, he is NOT even expected to put out the weeds. I learned that he had been doing that without telling me because my house is on a corner lot and is very visible to people who walk by. So, Zac is not only knowledge and good at what he does but also very passionate about what he does. I could not possibly ask for more from him. Their prices were competitive and their scheduling fit well with our plans. As a part of this project, they cleared out a wooded area behind our home and removed items left by some vagrants. Then they revitalized our garden areas by removing some old, tired junipers, and golden cypress. They planted new trees, added a rock border in front of the house and paved the apron next to the house. Everything looks fantastic! We will definitely be using them again in the near future. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for high quality work.

He told me that they also do fertilizing, power raking etc., but I told him just mow the lawns. They mowed for 2 weeks and then I went out of town and when I came home I was shocked to find out that they had destroyed a cedar tree that I had planted in 1980. I planted this tree 35 years ago for privacy and they cut it about 6 feet up, crooked and it looks like hell. Privacy gone and now I see a broken down fence. I could not see one inch of the fence or my neighbours house before the tree, that I spent 35 years maintaining, was ruined. They also power raked, but they didn't clean up the mess and they put down fertilizer, leaving alot on my new concrete driveway, that would have stained when it rained. It took me hours to clean up the mess that they left behind for work I didn't want done. I am a senior and partially disabled and it was very difficult for me to do the clean-up. I phoned Doug many times but he would not respond. His business card says satisfaction guaranteed but I see the tree that they destroyed several times a day and I just can't believe that my property was ruined. 35 year old tree wrecked. So beware of this company.
