This company has a great eye for design without the need for a landscape architect. They did much work on our property where we have a long term plan for the building of a large addition. While waiting for the architect to finish with the complete plan drawings, Diego and Dan worked on areas of our grounds that would not be affected by the build. Unfortunately, they built a water feature including granite steps that we supplied. My wife who was under a lot of stress at the time dealing with two sudden deaths in England, left clear directions with Fontana as to what to do and not to do around the water scape. Upon her return, she discovered the job was unfinished, they purchased plants which she had on hand and made available to them, and the area of construction was not cleaned from their work. She made comment to them in which I placed in emails. Diego reported that he would return to finish the job, install the lights, and carry on with the next stage of work. Numerous attempts were made to contact Fontana by email, text, and phone call with no response. Eventually, a developer colleague of mine reached out to Diego for an upcoming project to which he responded immediately. Upon learning this, I texted Diego informing him of my belief that he was being deceitful in not returning my messages or phone calls. I eventually communicated with him and he confirmed that he was not responding to my request due to us questioning some of their workmanship. Unfortunately, Diego proved to lack integrity and failed as an honest business man in our opinion. We have at least $100,000.00 worth of work left and this action by Diego interrupted our progress. It is too bad this happened because their work is exceptional. I gave this company a two because of Fontana's failure in business integrity and unable to accept questions of workmanship. read more
