He is by far our favourite professional that we have worked with over the years and here is why: We still, 10 years later, love the design he created for us. We wanted low maintenance and that is what we got but it was not at the expense of the design. It's beautiful and we still get compliments. In fact, our yard has won a Community in Bloom Streetscape Award in 2017 and 2018. He is able to source rare and unusual plants which we love. He is so very pleasant to work with. He is very knowledgeable about plants and design and clearly loves what he does. I would recommend Michael and Terra Luma Design in a heartbeat to anyone wanting a new design or an upgrade in an outdoor space.

To that point my last job came in $500 lower as "it didn't take as long as I thought it would." We are one of Metro Gnome's first clients, with no connection to Scott other than that. Since the day he started working on our extensive garden nearly two years ago, we have been impressed with his work ethic, his attention to detail, and his responsiveness. In addition to being the hardest-working gardener we've ever had, and very personable, Scott is genuinely committed to being an environmentally responsible gardener. We don't have to listen to the roar of gas powered lawn mowers, blowers, trimmers, power rakes, etc. Metro Gnome is totally 'hands on' and they even use electric bikes to get to & from job sites! We strongly recommend Scott Thran & the rest of his Metro Gnome team to anyone who wants a conscientious, customer-oriented, 'green' gardening service, at an hourly rate competitive with traditional service providers.
