He is by far our favourite professional that we have worked with over the years and here is why: We still, 10 years later, love the design he created for us. We wanted low maintenance and that is what we got but it was not at the expense of the design. It's beautiful and we still get compliments. In fact, our yard has won a Community in Bloom Streetscape Award in 2017 and 2018. He is able to source rare and unusual plants which we love. He is so very pleasant to work with. He is very knowledgeable about plants and design and clearly loves what he does. To that point my last job came in $500 lower as "it didn't take as long as I thought it would." We strongly recommend Scott Thran & the rest of his Metro Gnome team to anyone who wants a conscientious, customer-oriented, 'green' gardening service, at an hourly rate competitive with traditional service providers.
