I am so happy with this company!! My family recently moved. We had to get some landscaping done before we moved in. It was not easy to coordinate as the previous owners were still living there. Even with the constraints, they were able to do a great job of assessing our needs and getting me a quote. Zach and Aaron were great to work with at the front end to coordinate the job, and they did exactly what they said they would do, on time and on budget. Even through some really really crappy weather and circumstances. This company is not the least or most expensive, but after seeing the work they did, it was clear that there was real value in the work they did. We are so pleased. The stars of the operation are the crew. They all truly go above and beyond. First they show up on time!! (Which can't be understated when there are so many variables, and so many trades have left us hanging!) Second they work through some really really adverse conditions and they do some incredibly hard work. Always with a smile and positive attitude. We threw a lot of little changes over to the guys and they rolled with all of it and gave us great suggestions. Their flexibility and nimbleness gets their customers what they want... even if (like us) they don't know what they want at the start of the job!! I recently hired Beyond Landscaping Ltd. for some trimming and yard work, and the entire process--from inquiry to completion--was smooth, professional, and refreshingly friendly. From the start, Gavin was clear, responsive and came on site to confirm the scope of work and timing. Grace followed up with thoughtful coordination, and despite a tight schedule, they did their best to accommodate my request for an earlier time. Communication was proactive and solutions-oriented. When it came to actually doing the work, Kenny and Steven were real stars! They were thorough, respectful, and did a great job with the hedges, shrubs, and tree trimming. I was happy with the crew, and most importantly, their work and the outcome. Not always a guarantee these days. Great Lawns and Beyond carried out a comprehensive landscaping project at our home during March/April/May 2020. Cory Brewer is the Owner/General Manager of Great Lawns. Cory worked closely with us to develop a landscaping plan that met our goal to have a pleasant space in our back yard that was low maintenance and reasonably priced. These goals were met and then some. Our back yard was transformed into a very desirable outdoor living space. We were particularly impressed with the pride of workmanship demonstrated by all the various workers that came on site. Their attention to detail and making everything just right was appreciated. At the end of each workday, the crew took time to organize their tools and to sweep up debris resulting from a large quantity of material being removed to accommodate the installation of new artificial turf and a variety of hardscaping. Cory and his crew are terrific. We needed some help with our very large garden and were pleased to begin work with Great Lawns and Beyond this past spring. I am a new single mother of two and simply do not have the time to maintain our beautiful garden. Corys crews have been polite and professional. They tackle the yard upon each visit and do a beautiful job. They always clean up the clippings and leave our place tidy. Last visit they cut back an overgrown Rhododendron revealing an entire patch of earth on which to build a backyard office! This week we have asked to have some large ferns transplanted to fill a new garden bed. They even helped us with power washing our concrete driveway and paths. We used Great Lawns & Beyond last December for winter yard cleaning. Communication with Corey was prompt and professional. He was able to give us a flexible quote based on our needs. His price was also the lowest compared to his two competitors in the area. The work was done quickly, within 2 days after our first phone call and his team even did more than we had discussed. They pulled weeds from our river rocks and along the pathways, sheared our lavender bushes, and swept leaves in the back, in the stairways and on the patios. We contacted Beyond Landscaping to arrange for our annual Laurel hedge trimming. On July 28, 2025, Lia and Curtis arrived on time and began work immediately. Work was conducted at a steady pace, with obvious care and skill. All areas were tidied and inspected following the conclusion of the work. Would highly recommend for any landscaping, lawn or garden project. Cory and the team did a great job of turning our raccoon destroyed lawn and an 75 year old retaining wall into one of our favourite features of our house. One of the best things about GL&B is how great the communication is throughout the project. Cory responds quickly to emails and texts and was always available for questions. Overall, a great experience (loved the service). Beyond Landscaping Ltd did a one-week project to install a basalite valley stone block retaining wall, a small set of stairs, and a cap for my sump. My installers, Luke, Brian, and José were knowledgeable and courteous. Despite having to deal with a difficult access behind the house (no heavy machinery) they put in a full day's work and remained positive and friendly. I had Beyond Landscaping out to our very green patio to do Pressure Washing for us. Paudie did a fantastic job! We have no green,the pavers look new and the sand/ mud was rinsed off.
