I rarely leave bad reviews, but what happened with Nicholas Gardenscaping deserves to be called out.
My neighbours hired this company for landscaping, and in the process, Nicholas Gardenscaping crossed onto my property and cut back my mature maple tree--right down to the trunk. This wasn't minor trimming; it was complete destruction. That tree took over 40 years to grow and, in a single afternoon, they butchered it beyond recognition. What was once a beautiful, full tree that provided privacy and character to my backyard is now a bare, lifeless eyesore.
There was absolutely no attempt to consult me before cutting branches that were clearly on my side of the fence. Any professional landscaping company should know better than to cross property lines without permission, let alone do irreversible damage. This shows a complete lack of professionalism, basic judgment, and respect for others' property.
That tree was a highlight of my yard and a natural privacy screen. Now, it's just a daily reminder of the careless and destructive work done by this company. While my neighbors have agreed to pay for a new fence to help restore some privacy, that does nothing to replace what was lost.
Under new management, led by Zach Nicholas, this company appears to be both unskilled and unprofessional. I strongly recommend avoiding Nicholas Gardenscaping if you value your property and expect competent, respectful service. read more
