We had heard nothing but positive feedback from other neighbors in our community who hired them, and our experience was no different. The experience exceeded our expectations in every way. And what we appreciated most was their professionalism and attention to detail. Every single day, the SBCI team left the worksite spotless, which made living through a renovation much less stressful. Even more impressive was their reliability; they completed phases of the project exactly on the schedule they laid out at the beginning. Communication was top-notch; Steve kept us informed throughout the entire project, was always responsive to our questions, and made the process incredibly easy. Beyond their excellent process, the team's knowledge and skill were truly impressive. They offered great suggestions and clearly took pride in their craftsmanship. We started this journey in September of 2025 and we can't wait to see the final product in just a few days which will be a week earlier before the end of October 2025. I'm confident and would hire SBCI again for any future projects. Thank you Steve and your entire crew!

I contacted Vail Builders after seeing them highly recommended on Angie's List. Jim Vail promptly returned my phone call and set up an appointment to measure the room and to meet with my wife and I regarding our ideas. Jim is thorough and extremely detail oriented, which is exactly what you need in a general contractor. Jim is demanding of his subcontractors and responsive and fair to his clients. The results Jim helped my wife and I create are spectacular; they exceeded our expectations by a large degree. I will plan to hire Vail Builders for any and all of my future building needs.

No matter where you're coming from or what your project is, they will treat you seriously and with respect for you and for their own work. I can't afford to redo my whole counter at the moment, but I needed just a fairly small piece of stone--about 1.5 sq ft--for a countertop addition. Unlike a half dozen other companies I called they were responsive, accommodating, and very affordable. Even for my tiny project they discussed my needs in detail and suggested a necessary adjustment I would have overlooked. I am beyond grateful. Now I have a beautiful custom piece of stone putting the rest of my laminate counters to shame, and reminding me of who to call when I can afford to redo the rest... Their warehouse and workshop is open to the public, because why wouldn't you want to show off such excellent workmanship? They have all the options you could dream of, and all at unbeatable prices. Only 8 reviews? Don't sleep on these guys. Look no further for your stone needs.

I gave each painter $100 as a tip because They were good. Job was good and no complaints but very bad miscommunication about price soured me on the experience. And I am a fair and realistic person.

I am so proud of what we (my husband and I) with David, and Brad have created. It exceeds what I hoped for. So much design where we live is predictable, not very creative, and frankly...oversized...for an older home. David Heide, and Brad Belka are masters of restoration, updating, and renovation of older homes and also building from scratch.
