John (the owner) showed up on my doorstep one afternoon and let me know he was paving a bunch of driveways in the community. He was giving out free estimates to neighbors.  My driveway needed to be fully ripped up, and he quoted me a reasonable $$ number with reassurance that the quote would not change.  Cool. I went ahead with hiring him and his team. Man was that a mistake. Day one they start ripping up the asphalt and they find it's double layered. John halts the job and tells me he can either just put a new coat over the existing old bottom layer or rip up both layers, but it would be an "extra $1,500 dollars due to making more trips to the dump."  Red flag #1, he quoted a "never changing" number that changed 10 minutes into the job. They continue the job and did ok on the Belgium block, but happy I was there monitoring as the guys were laying it down on an angle. Red flag #2. Let's get to the end of the job where things got really messy. John informed me he would be grading the whole driveway for proper drainage. Wrong. As they started laying the asphalt I already could tell the driveway was not graded at all. In fact the amount of gravel they brought in was pathetic. Red flag #3. The final compact rolling job was done beyond poor.  (John actually got on the machine to do this).  I've uploaded a ton of pictures documenting how bad the "bird bathing" is and how bad the asphalt compacting was done.  I was stunned to see all the ridge lines and marks from the machine after it rained. (Very hard to see when the driveway was dry). It's now a week later and I'm still trying to get John to come out and see all the issues. He is seriously paving the driveway down the street and he hasn't stopped by. I'm obviously getting the run around. Also worth noting he did say to me "just drive on the ridges and they will go down."  Are you serious John??  I walked around the community and talked to neighbors that used John and his team and none of them are happy. Here are some quotes from the neighbors:  "The workers drank all the beer in my garage fridge". "They kept asking for extra tips on the side" "John rolled the asphalt so fast I could tell the job was going to be done poorly."  A community of unhappy customers is not going to be good for business.

I couldn't be more pleased with the work done at my house by Concrete Chiropractor! Kris Winters,…read morethe owner, is very responsive and quickly answered my phone call and emails. He is extremely knowledgeable and offered me so much valuable advice about the damp basement issue at my house. His pricing is very fair and reasonable. Matt, the master craftsman who actually did the work at my house, was amazing! He went above and beyond my expectations. The job is absolutely perfect. If I could rate this fabulous company 10 stars out of 5, I would. I highly recommend Concrete Chiropractor! (¯`'*.¸(¯`'*.¸(¯`'*.¸F A N T A S T I C¸.*'´¯)¸.*'´¯)¸.*'´¯)

Our driveway was 6 inches lower than our garage and the walkway wasn't lined up to the driveway or patio. After a few outrageously expensive estimates from several companies and a few aggressive sales pitches I came across Concrete Chiropractor. The estimation process was simple as they asked me to take pictures and included a guide on how to do it. They followed up with a phone call and explained the process to me. They then sent me a DocuSign document (contract) and told me they would be in touch to schedule in a few weeks. When the crew showed up they again explained the process and in just a few hours everything was fixed perfectly and the price was fair. In fact they don't haggle or play games just give a fair price for the work.

Avoid London Construction Services at all costs. This company not only damaged and disrespected our…read morehome but also displayed a shocking lack of craftsmanship and an utter failure to complete our project. For any who see this and may be in a similar situation, take action before they disappear by reporting them to the New Jersey division of consumer affairs, the BBB and all other applicable state agencies. Nertil Lazellari is the owner and their home improvement licenses are: 13VH08912700 (London Construction Services LLC) and 13VH12706500 for their new popup company London GC LLC. We provided a 50% deposit in Jul, 22 for a project that entailed a roof replacement, new gutters, trim work, a rooftop deck, and a walking bridge. As we were new residents of New Jersey, we were thrilled to undertake this renovation project on our dream home. However, things took a turn for the worse when weeks turned into months, and there was little to no communication regarding permit acquisition or project planning. The trouble began with their masonry work. They inadvertently buried all the electrical wiring that powered our backyard, along with the lake pumps that were essential for our property. This decision, especially considering that these conditions were pre-existing and that I had already paid a deposit for other electrical work, led to a year of ongoing electrical issues, subsequent repairs, and additional costs that inflicted considerable aggravation on my family. The masonry and steps that were installed are crooked, missing veneers, missing mortar and shoddy by any reasonable standard. Following this misstep, they proceeded with the roof replacement in Nov, 22. On the second day of the installation, their PM, Lino, delivered the bad news--a startling cost escalation that should have been accounted for in the original quote. What this company does is initiate a project, dismantle existing structures, and then conveniently "discover" additional problems leaving you no choice but to pay. See other reviews by other customers. After reluctantly providing a deposit for this unexpected roof expense that should have been disclosed upfront, the project resumed. On November 15, 2022, a true catastrophe unfolded--our entire upstairs living space was flooded due to London Construction's negligence. This deluge caused extensive damage to our furniture, which, to this day, we have not been reimbursed for. The workers displayed a shocking level of roughness and carelessness, punching holes through our walls to the point where we could see the sky. They also inflicted severe damage to the flue of our gas fireplace, which remains unaddressed. The roof remains incomplete in several areas, the gutters were never installed, the drip edges missing and a substantial amount of unfinished or shoddy work still requires meditation and additional out of pocket expense. At all times the site was a wreck. Fast forward to the winter of 2023--what should have been a completed project was nowhere near finished. Attempts to communicate through calls and messages into February 2023 either went unanswered or yielded cryptic responses. When work finally resumed at the end of February, the same litany of issues that had plagued the roof and masonry extended to the deck and other projects. The deck is wavy, railings are missing or never started etc.. As of September 2023, London Construction Services has not managed to complete a single aspect of the project we initiated, leaving our home in a significantly worse state than before. What should have been a pleasurable experience for my family has spiraled into an unending nightmare. I am generally reticent to compose negative reviews or disparage individuals in the trades, as the majority of contractors are highly skilled and diligent. However, it is imperative to expose and hold accountable those who engage in unethical practices, as they tarnish the reputation of the entire industry and undermine the hardworking professionals who consistently deliver quality work.

I wish all contractors worked as well and efficiently as this company. After sending over my 50% deposit in March (a couple thousand dollars), I was assured that once temps warmed up, "we would be first on the list" to complete a small back patio fix, clean, grout, and seal. I touched base a couple times in Spring to align schedules to begin work. He was a "no-show" 3x and started ignoring my phone calls, texts, and emails. We had to call from different phone numbers in order to get him to answer. After months of waiting, we wanted our deposit back. He said we would still have to pay for materials. I threatened legal action to get our deposit back in full. He showed up at 8:30pm three days later with my deposit and the NDA offer which he jumped from $400 to $500. He was incredibly unprofessional, did not deliver in a timely manner, and then had to gall to offer $500 so he could keep his 5 Star Review.
