He spent 15 minutes discussing possible causes, pricing and options - which was a pleasant surprise. Most places will simply tell you that they can fix any problem you have and just bring your PC to them. So after more research I was able to recover data from my PC much to my relief, even though it still doesn't boot up properly. I spoke with Jim again today and explained what I'd done. He advised me that my options were to either buy a new PC or spend $175 to reinstall Windows. Considering my PC is 9 years old, I'll opt to buy a new one. And the best part of the whole experience was that Jim actually gave me some advice on what to look for in a new PC. Even though I never had Jim fix my PC, I'm really glad that I spoke with him. He's a class act and I appreciate him taking time to help me even though he wasn't getting paid. Needless to say if I ever have PC issues in the future I'll call Jim.

When I was last here for my gaming computer, they didn't even fix my computer well. I brought my…read morecomputer in because it randomly crashed after 10 minutes of using it. When I got it back, he told me he didn't know what was wrong with it and that the problem fixed itself when he went on it. Surprise, the problem was still there. I found out myself later that week that all I had to do was clean the dust out of the fans and some other hardware and it worked fine... he also charged me extra fees with adding some thermal paste, an antivirus, and such when I didn't ask him to. I know it's been around 2 years since I have been here and before I just thought it wasn't worth writing a review because I thought "that's just how the industry goes so they can make money" and I wasn't going to screw this company over with my review. Hate the game, not the player I guess. Recently though, my brother went to a different computer repair and they didn't charge him with extra fees and they told him everything he was getting charged for. They also identified the problem pretty fast, which was much more complicated than just dust. I am just writing this review to let people know that there are better places out there. Don't waste your time at this place. Maybe they don't specialize in gaming computers or even had a bad day or something. Maybe he charged me these extra fees because the only thing I would be paying was the fee for him to check what's wrong, but this just my experience. The rest of the reviews seem pretty positive.
