My most recent visit to Total Command today was definitely once again a 5 star visit. I went in to get name tapes and rank sewn on some uniform tops and a hat. Haven't needed any sewing in a while, but the ladies behind the counter remembered me. They were super friendly and provided prompt professional service at a fair price as always. Needed some patches sewn on, wanted a week to complete and than when I got them back they sewed to where I couldn't even use the buttons to keep the pocket closed. Expensive too. Go somewhere else. read more

This place is very close to the Army base. Convenient, quick turn around. The only down side is that it's very pricey. I only got 2 ACU tips with patches sewn on and it was close to $100. read more

If you just ranked up, graduated AIT and are shipping out in the morning, this is the place to go for 'emergency' insignia sewing for your uniforms! The ladies here (all 3) are incredibly friendly, fast and skilled. I had two complete sets of uniforms (jackets, 2 shirts, 2 ABUs) sewn with rank and skill patches in about 20 minutes while I waited for $61.50, including rush fees. That was a lot of sewing! There was a steady stream of folks wandering in getting while u wait work done while I was there. They also were making name tapes. This is a full service shop doing alterations, custom flags, embroidery, etc. I would not hesitate to recommend them and would patronize them in future, should I return to St Robert and have similar needs. Absolutely do not bring any military clothing to be dry cleaned at this establishment. For $14 I had my ASU 'cleaned.' They managed to get a bunch of gooshit on the back of my long sleeved collared shirt. It also had button marks pressed into the opposite side of the shirt, not even sure how that's possible. Turned the gold band around my left jacket sleeve a weird faded gold color, that is distinctively a different color than the right sleeve. In general it didn't look like any effort was put into cleaning it. Also some weird nuances I've never experienced at any other dry clearer like removing every button to turn it in. I pointed out the issues they created and they told me to basically get bent. Overall 0/5. Go literally anywhere else. read more

I can tolerate unpleasant service if I receive a good product. Let me tell you, this place is NOT worth it. The sewed on rank on the PC is crooked and it was overpriced. Every exchange talking to any employee was horrible and they proved themselves as blunt jerks every experience. read more

Prices are expensive for routine sewing. I normally pay 8 dollars for my patches in Virginia beach versus 24 dollars I paid here. When I received my uniform it was missing patches and one was upside down. Yes, it was fixed but I won't be returning. read more

I went in and turned in an item last week and went to pick it up, it wasn't done how I wanted it to be done AT ALL, I was wanting to disregard the work and have the money returned, instead the workers stopped their work to assist me and do it again on the spot. That was great. read more

A female buddy (Caucasian) of mine told me this place would be cheap and quick. She took in ten uniforms for sewing patches (rank/name/usarmy) and she said her total at the end was only around $55. I went in to ask for a price quote for five tops and two hats. I said I already had all the patches they'd need to sew. The woman (short, black hair, oriental or islander) told me it would be $11 per top. I called back today and "Ms Brandi" told me it would be around $7 per top. Keep in mind the woman on the phone couldn't see my face (I'm African American) so maybe that's why I got A LOT lower of a quote over the phone? Idk, but they don't have any prices posted in the shop so I'm sure they say whatever price they want for that day or that customer. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Brought my military uniform in requesting the seamstress to fix my hem, I was turned away due to it being already modified. Her response to me was a little rude and her excuse for not doing it was, "I don't want to because it's too hard. Go take it somewhere else if you want." read more

I can't even begin to explain how thankful I am for this establishment. This place have saved me on many occasions with last minute payday activity notices. They absolutely try their best to satisfy the customers needs. I had to have my asu back in one day and they came through same thing for ocp stitching. If you want fast reliable service this is the place to go for sure. The older Korean lady that works the counter and do the stitching is amazing really nice and friendly and will always go the extra mile for good customer service. read more

This is a terrible place to get your clothes dry cleaned at, they threw away all my expensive hangers and they didn't even tell me they were going to at all. And there is a bunch of lint on my clothes too so this is a terrible experience so you shouldn't go here ever. read more

So I have a class that was doing a project and came to total command to see if they can fulfill the idea they have. The lady there quoted them at $320 for it. The class then decided to shop around and find a better price. They went to frames and things and were quoted for $167. The lady asked who was going to charge them the first price and they said total command. The lady at frames and things thought that was funny because total command uses her business to do these types of projects. What is the reasoning behind inflating the price on Soldiers who happen to be your number one consumer? Looks really shady and unethical on your behalf. read more

This is only the first time using their service but they treated me like a life lone customer. Very friendly and their prices were not bad. I have used cheaper shops before and it showed however this shop is not not at all short changing you when it comes to qualify of their staff or the service they provide. read more

Took in my white J Crew coat and some ties and hubby's white shirt. Ruined my white coat, it is no longer white but tinted blue. I have no idea how that happened! All of the ties still had the stains in them. His white military shirt came out with a new rust stain by the pocket. read more

I had a guidon custom embroidered and put into a frame. Upon pick up there were many wrinkles around the stitching and looked very unprofessional especially for the amount that was paid. She tried to say the wrinkles weren't able to be pulled out due to the stitching. I took it back the following day knowing the wrinkles could have been pressed out and the lady tried to tell me it would cost extra to have it fixed. She spoke with her boss and the lady tried to fix it but still turned out very unprofessional. She then told me next time she would try to use a different backing so it wouldn't look like that. Do it right the first time. Very displeased with what I paid for and wouldn't recommend this place for custom framing work. Luckily I found someone that was able to stretch and pull the wrinkles out and now it looks like actual professional work. read more
